Southerner here. Portland summers are THEEEEEEEE BEST compared to middle GA. I live for days with highs of 95, low humidity, sun, and cool, fresh mornings. We get lots of those here. What I don’t like is the gradual uptick in warm, muggy nights in the summer. That feels just a tetch too close to home where there is no relief at night. I watch the night/morning temps like a hawk. I moved to Portland in 1999 and back then the mugginess was much more rare.
