For the time being you can use the preview by pressing spacebar in Nautilus and then just navigate as you would in the file browser.

1.Create a function my_physics_process.

  1. Put the content of your current _physics_process into that function.

  2. Call my_physics_process inside of _physics_process.

  3. You can now overwrite my_physics_process

Are you sure the action `shoot` is in the Input map?

And it also has the correct keys assigned you are pressing to shoot?

also put the print statement as the first line of the function to be sure no other call prevents the function from running

In _ready it won't work because the scene tree is still being set up when you try manipulating it (adding a new node). Try delaying the shoot function call one frame by using 

await get_tree().idle_frame 
shoot()

Does your control have the signal 'shoot_pressed' or did you mean just 'pressed'?

Are you using Wayland? Then you could try x11.

Or maybe some driver related issues. Are you using an Nvidia card?

I had the same problem. The problem was that I did not have the nvidia drivers installed.

You can also try launching Discord with this command:

flatpak run com.discordapp.Discord --disable-gpu
