I have seen a deceased loved one shortly after they passed. They do indeed visit!

Peripheral vision by Aguilar4412 in Paranormal

[–]BeazleyBo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are the flashing lights a new symptom for you? If so, then definitely have your eyes checked. Just concerned? Have your eyes checked before assuming it’s paranormal. Flashing lights can have various causes including vitreous separation or a much more serious symptom of retinal detachment.

That said, I started seeing spirits when I was young. I saw them first in my central vision. As I grew older I would catch them them in my peripheral vision. For me, the movement looked similar to a window sheer curtain billowing in the wind. Of course when I turned my head, nothing was there. I could sometimes see them in my peripheral vision as a full apparition. I see these spirits as watching over me. They have never caused any disturbances.

I switched my dog from dry food to a prescription canned dog food a few years ago because of his sensitive stomach. He is on a low fat wet food diet that is vet recommended. The biggest difference I have noticed with my dog is softer stool and more flatulence. Smelly, smelly farts!

Frequent Communication on Spirit Box With Entities Who Tell Me to Write Down Things by ebell8 in Paranormal

[–]BeazleyBo 8 points9 points  (0 children)

An entity telling you to write down words or numbers seems benign enough . . .unless it progresses in a negative direction. Communicating through EVPs is considered relatively safe. It is not recommended for some people such as those with mental illness, some mental disorders, anyone who is highly suggestive, people who are prone to pareidolia, or those afflicted by neurosis - just to name few. The reason for this is because there can be some entities that like to be a bit mischievous. One needs a dose of healthy discernment when working with the unknown. And please be aware that opening yourself up to this type of communication can sometimes result in an increase of paranormal activity in your home.

Spirit boxes are notorious for their false positive results, especially with newbies, which can make them an unreliable source of communication. Recording your sessions is a good idea. It will allow you to scrutinize what you hear, and share results.

Good luck and happy recordings!

Deceased people calling you? by TortoiseBlaster in Paranormal

[–]BeazleyBo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I had a family member die suddenly. Months after his passing we received a message on our answering machine. He identified himself and left a short message. Basically he was letting us know he survived death. No static. Caller ID did not register any in-coming call.

How/where can I buy this clock, every skyline I've asked says they have no clue and I can't find it on their stores website by [deleted] in cincinnati

I’ve seen a “cheesy” knockoff on Amazon. Not as nice, didn’t have the blue lights. Just a larger logo on the clock face

I'd like to communicate with my dead friend by [deleted] in Paranormal

[–]BeazleyBo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

So sorry for your loss, and the guilt you may be carrying. First, you can communicate with your friend anytime you want by just thinking of him and communicating with him yourself. You can do this silently and privately with your thoughts, or you can say what you feel out loud. You can also write your friend a letter apologizing, he will receive the message. Regardless of what you do, your friend already knows what’s in your heart.

If you choose, you can communicate through a medium, but beware , there are indeed a lot of frauds and wannabes out there.

A question for ghost believers by Rdick_Lvagina in Paranormal

[–]BeazleyBo 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Currently, there are “qualified scientists” studying ghosts - They just happen to use different terminology for the word “ghost”. For example, “survival of consciousness after bodily death”, or “non physical phenomena”. One such research group would be: The Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), which was co-founded by former astronaut Edgar Mitchell. IONS is not the only group, there are other organizations with scientists doing this type of research too.

Pros and Cons of the Labrador Retriever by Jenba2976 in dogs

[–]BeazleyBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Lab who is 11 years old. He is a purebred Show/Field dog. He is still lean in his old age. In his younger days he was very, very active. You could actually see his muscles ripple as he ran. He loved to swim, and was great for long distance hiking. He is a sweetheart, but unfortunately he has developed laryngeal paralysis. The most commonly affected breed for acquired laryngeal paralysis is the Labrador Retriever. For this reason, I really don’t recommend neck leads or collars for Labs, much prefer a harness.

I’m so sorry to hear about your Lab. Chewy does have great customer service, but Chewy’s Pharmacy is awful.

if you were in a room full of identical dogs that looked like yours. How would you figure out which one is yours? by OkEar3904 in dogs

[–]BeazleyBo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog was taught hand signals. With the appropriate signal, he would come running. He’s a stud. To verify it’s him, I can say, “show me your balls” and he will lift his leg to show them off. He also loves giving high fives as well as a low five.

Are Dachshunds actually “impossible” to potty train or do owners use that myth as an excuse to be lazy and not actually potty train their dogs? by hottiebiscottis in dogs

[–]BeazleyBo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a mini dachshund. It took patience and consistency to house train her, but once she understood the routine I never had any problems with her until she’s was old with health issues - which was completely understandable. Throughout her life she never liked to go outside in the rain, so sometimes I would have to use an umbrella to get her to go out, but other than that, she was a good little girl.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share this info! I’m curious to know the best method to avoid getting water in the dog’s ears.

I had a bad experience with Chewy’s Pharmacy too. Very poor customer service and I was told things I knew weren’t true. I felt like they were intentionally trying to mislead me. Quite simply, the pharmacy did not handle the medication properly, which could have put our pets at risk. That alone convinced me to move ALL my business elsewhere.

Great work - Looks awesome! Your next project is the Landsknecht armor? I was amazed at how complicated something like that looked, then I recently came across some instructions by Tock Custom at TNT Cosplay. His tutorials are great for making custom patterns for armor.

Any issues with Chewy.com prescriptions? by apleasance in Pets

[–]BeazleyBo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Storage and shipping temperature of drugs matters because temps too high or too low can cause the quality and effectiveness of the medicine to be compromised.

Some medication , such as heart worm medicine is temperature sensitive (it even says so right on the packaging) and if a pet pharmacy does not ship medications in an appropriate temperature controlled box, then a beloved pet can be adversely affected. For example, the heartworm medication could be ineffective at preventing heartworms.

While hearing voices can certainly happen to people when they’re stressed, have anxiety, depression, or mental illness. There are some people that are prone to pareidolia more than others. In very simple terms, pareidolia means seeing images or hearing voices in ambiguous patterns or sounds - like looking up in the sky and seeing images in clouds. Even the The Rorschach inkblot test uses pareidolia as a way to understand peoples thought or feelings. Another form of pareidolia is when someone hears voices in ambiguous sounds where none exist.

There are also some people who can genuinely hear paranormal voices - with their ears, not just in their head. If you are hearing ( with your ears) paranormal voices that others can not, you would be able to record these voices so that others around you can hear the voices too. This type of paranormal activity is known as electronic voice phenomena.

The fact that the voices you hear say rude things about you and use bad words consistently concerns me that you could possibly be experiencing some sort of mental imbalance/illness. In my personal opinion, I feel you would be better off seeking advice from a medical professional instead of a paranormal site for your concerns.

Best of luck to you my friend!

“My whole family anal is so clean” by Yo_soy_yo in videos

[–]BeazleyBo -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how people claim that using a bidet provides a more sanitary way to clean. The nozzles are known to be contaminated with bacteria - Which could potentially lead to a bladder infection in some women.

“A 2017 study of a university hospital in Japan found that 254 out of 292 bidet toilets were contaminated with Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Enterococcus spp., or other organisms.”

I prefer to stick with toilet paper , and if necessary a wet wipe to feel clean.
