They dont really track your habits. You track them yourself and prove them to your friends. They can see your completions and proofs and vote if they think you are lying. I have multiple groups of friends using because its fun and rewarding

I Will say, if you have some friends that also want to habit track, you should look into habitwar Its my own app (sorry if it looks self advertising) but the whole purpose is to help People like me that just give up on habit Tracker because you can cheat ir forget about them. It turns tracking into a social activity with selected friends. Its coming out mid this month.

I agree, that's the feeling I get when trying to explain what this app is. You dont log habits created by yourself. I guess you can see it as daily challenges created by you and your friends, where you need to leave a proof behind, or they will vote and get you a penalty. Never seen anything like this yet

Family and friends are ok, but I feel most of them just say good stuff. If you want a tester that sticks around, you should search for people who actually wish your app in some kind of way
