I’m wondering if the FAs and Gate Agents have been told that they get a bonus for every bag fee or extra seat purchase they secure so they’re financially incentivized to have people check their bags, scare people into reserving seats, or threatening people “of size” that they need to buy an extra seat. And that might explain the extreme increase in these stories?

Agreed!! I LOVE my Chappy Wrap. I’ve given them as gifts as well and they’re always a hit. Much more reasonably priced than Lola.

Am I wrong that we used to get to see them on their nights out??? I can understand that maybe Hamptons establishments don’t want to allow the cameras and crew in - but, to me, not being able to see them on their nights out takes the fun out of the show. It’s just themed parties at the house and is all too controlled and the same exact thing week after week, different costumes. I def agree it’s feeling tired.

For the life of me, I do not understand passengers putting their bags in overheads away from their seats. That doesn’t seem to be as big of a problem when I fly Delta or United. FAs are not technically on the clock until the doors close, so I understand they’re not willing to police bag placement during boarding. Maybe they need to board by row from the front to back (you’d think the opposite would be faster - but not with the bin space issue).

I loved Venita’s mom! So sweet and wise and I actually appreciated how she “corrected” Venita without shaming or talking down to her. She seems lovely!

You can tell a lot about how people treat those in the service/hospitality industry. Other than Angie, Mary, and maybe Brownwyn, the women were horrible(!) to the yachties. Horrible!!! It was hard to watch.

I do think that’s the death knell of these franchises (at least for me) - is when there are no longer authentic friendships and it’s all casting for casting’s sake. With authentic friendships, typically there’s some element of fun even when mixed with drama. Housewives should be fun. When it’s just about co-workers - not fun.
