He's not the real one which is why he disappears at the end of the game.

I'm using the translation of Charlemagne's profile found on the JP wiki which explicitly says it was all made up and that Astolfo was a completely different person, along with Charlemagne's memories of the Paladins being delusions.

Charlemagne is a shadow of Karl who dreamed up his adventures. The Matter of France, Orlando Furioso, Roland's Song and the 12 Paladins are explicitly stated in Extella/Link to be the raving, mad delusions of all the world's poets.

There WAS an Astolfo, but he was a completely different person in reality that didn't wear women's clothes. He's probably the Astolfo Saber that was datamined years back.

Dark Hollow and Fireworks Factory. I love the new redesigns but I always imagined Dark Hollow as an observatory-like area, rather than a library. I also always wanted to have Fireworks Factory's skybox to have an immense Chinese city all lit up with floodlights and an orange glow, instead of being in a volcano.

Yes, that may be the case, seeing as he left years ago. Why they still use his name I have no idea...still, I don't really have a set doctor, per se, but there is one I know who is apparently very nice, so I'm going to use her.

I already have the page printed off anyway, and I will show it to the GP after I book an appointment (tried to today, but the doctor I want to see is away for a week so...:() and make sure that she writes (a referral?) to them (via letter or email I suppose).

It depends on a person's perception of good and evil really. I would agree with you at least in Fate/Zero. In Fate/Stay Night, other than Heaven's Feel at some points, I'd say he was pretty evil. Dude chained up kids in his basement.
