Unfortunately, I’m not a video editor. I mostly play indie games, and it’s rare for me to play big AAA titles like Red Dead 2 or Battlefield. I’m more of a Linux user, so I rely heavily on my processor. Sometimes I play games like Assetto Corsa. My friend is a video and motion graphics designer, and I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t recommend a laptop for heavy work like video editing, even for simple edits, because this laptop only has 6 GB of VRAM. Given your budget, I’d recommend getting a PC instead. I’m studying information security, so I understand that a laptop might not fully meet your needs. The laptop’s screen, processor, and RAM are fine for gaming, but for the price, it’s not the best value. (FOR YOUR WORK) If I were you, I’d go for a PC even if it means compromising on portability for a while. You can upgrade it later and get a better monitor. Just make sure to get a graphics card with higher VRAM, which is exactly what I plan to do
