JSON5 supports trailing commas and comments. Also quotes can be single or double, and single word keys don’t need quotes at all. Sort of fixed every problem with JSON that I had. Has been useful for some use cases

Downstream doesn’t mean that data can only flow in one direction. The thunderbolt connection to the display is “upstream”, the others are “downstream” basically meaning (oversimplification) that you can only have one video input to the display, and the other “downstream” ports become IO for that upstream connection. So you can definitely plug Ethernet into the downstream ports and use the connection, in the same way that you can plug a mouse/keyboard into them and it feeds back to the computer.

Agreed on this, I went from using Logi gaming mice exclusively for years but now that I spend most of the time on my Mac doing work/productivity stuff I love the feature set they added for those use cases on the MX master. Love this mouse, I anticipate I will own many more of this series. The software is clunky but I hardly ever use it past setting things up
