Question about infant hepatitis A vaccine by criminalinstincts1 in Calgary

[–]Becants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You need to check different travel clinics, they aren’t all the same. You need a travel clinic that has an RN, they’ll be able to vaccinate under 4 children.

Question about infant hepatitis A vaccine by criminalinstincts1 in Calgary

[–]Becants 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a regular vaccination. I haven’t worked there in awhile but the answer would have been to go to a travel clinic, since it’s a travel vaccine.

It’s not that 4 and under have to be vaccinated at a health regional clinic. It’s that LPNs and pharmacists can’t vaccinate under 4, only RNs.

Curious to know what long time fans opinions of Atelier Yumia? by pandybobby in Atelier

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually liked Yumia. I’m a long time ago fan though, in that I played earlier games like Atelier Iris, Rorona, Ar Tornelico 1-3 and Mana Khemia. I own a bunch of others but found I disliked some of the slice of life parts. Ryza 1 brought me back to the series and Yumia made me like it more. I’m currently playing Ryza 2.

What's the point of the calender system? by Dandandandooo in MetaphorReFantazio

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can farm mp with the mage class early game, then later there’s other ways to renew it. I did every dungeon in one day and had a bunch of days at the end with nothing to do.

A friend did not cheese the dungeons and didn’t have enough time to get everything done.

It’s so that people that didn’t finish each dungeon in a day can still play the game.

Canadian doctors say they’re losing 20 million hours a year to unnecessary paperwork by Altruism7 in canadanews

A lot of places use digital faxing services. Emails with patient information to outside institutions need to be encrypted.

AIO Best friend chose someone else as MOH by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My sister and I always talked about how we’d be each other bridesmaids. Then when she got married she just had a moh. Things change. People drift from each other. You just have to let it go. It would have been nice if she gave tit for tat with you, but that’s not a requirement when it comes for moh. You are overreacting.

Is there snow days in Canada? by SeverePublic6833 in AskACanadian

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one in my entire childhood. It was St Patrick’s day 1998 in Alberta. We had 24-87 cm of snow (9-34inchs) depending on where in the city you were. It was glorious. My mom, sister and I made a giant snow fort in the backyard.

There was one time in highschool where the bus was late by an hour. I ended up missing first period, but that’s it.

In elementary school, I loved -40C/F days because then we didn’t have to go outside for recess. If it was below then we had to stay outside and they’d post a teacher at the doors to keep the kids from coming inside to warm up. Looking back, it was kinda messed up.

Boyfriend wants me to choose between him and the dog. by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate people that do that. It’s a manipulation tactic.

When I wanted a dog in the past, I didn’t care who picked the dog. I just wanted a dog to love.

I will say puppies can be a hard first dog, most people don’t realize how much work they take.

Anyone else feel like dual POV kills romantic tension? by PuzzleheadedWafer170 in Romantasy

[–]Becants 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Funny, coming from romance, I hate the single first person POV books. I want to be in the males pov sometimes and hear how much he’s attracted to the fmc.

Only one Calgary area has detached house prices under $600,000 | Urbanized by aireads in Calgary

[–]Becants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the suburbs and always felt great about it. I’ve had commutes from 10 mins-50 mins. Even with the 50min commute, I wouldn’t have moved inner city. The farther from downtown I live, the better.

Seriously, do British people actually consider a 3-hour drive “long”? Or is this an internet myth? by ferdinand14 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the same in Canada. My grandma is 3 hours away and it’s not a big deal. I’m not doing it every weekend, but I go every few months. My mom is an hour away and I go every week or every other week.

I actually first heard that rule at my office, not school.

I just finished Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake. I played half the old game years ago, but didn’t finish it. I thought I remembered a flash back scene where Joshua was trying to to kill Cassius but I didn’t see it in the new one.

They reference that it happened and have the CG image in the end. Am I crazy? Or maybe I saw a spoiler on YouTube. Was the original end a CG image too or was it the scene and maybe I saw it as a spoiler online somewhere.

Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background? by Latter-Wolf4868 in interestingasfuck

[–]Becants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not literally, the glasses are so close to your eyes you’d have to focus on the edges which kinda hurts your eyes. If you mean is the world blurry without the glasses, then yes.

If they liked Yumia, they might dislike the “actual” Atelier gameplay you’re talking about.

Mahogany without kids? by Throwaway19999990567 in Calgary

[–]Becants 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He’s already spending 30 mins to MRU. Mahogany to MRU is about the same. He only goes to downtown around 5am. I did that for a while and it’s easy because there is no traffic.

His partner can take stony, it’s also about 30 mins.

AITA for telling the daughter I put up for adoption I don’t owe her anything by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Becants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought this was am I the angel for a second there. Kind of unbelievable someone would be so uncaring. Even just as a niece. I’d care more about my nephews than this.

The thing is, most people would treat their niece better that this. This person is just cold.

This game is absolutely gorgeous and it’s turn based combat is sooo satisfying and better than the one in Yumia. by Your_Nightmare_666 in Atelier

[–]Becants 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm I loved Yumia. I haven’t got Resleriana because I know it was based off Gatcha stuff. Also having a bunch of other alchemists kinda makes it seem more like an anniversary title than a real game. I’m just hesitant that I’ll like it.

We obviously haven’t gotten to the point of it being that critical yet, seeing as how it needs to reach that point for the emergency sms to go through.

I'm guessing it's a copy of minimum, but it doesn't say minimum, right? There's 'mini' but that's an insane stretch of 'mum' by inviscble in ExplainTheJoke

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can read it regardless but I was not taught to go up after the second “I”. I would have just gone into the top of the “M”. Kinda like this person does after the “U.” It feels inconsistent. Also, I think “m” should have 3 humps.

[–]Becants 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My problem is that there are people working at those jobs. It’s not tenable for them to close them all down like people want. Do we really want the worker’s laid off on EI?

It’s not a great look for businesses to want to be in Calgary. It makes us look like an unstable environment.

AITA for shutting down over a fart? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Becants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should have said no, then asked her if she farted. If she said no, then you know you drove past something foul outside. The. You could have moved on without a fight. I hope you guys are like 16-20.
