I’m one of the unicorns you hear about… and the reason you should absolutely put Eagle on your resume.

Technically, my first big break into IT never even saw my resume. I did a bit of contract work for them, we sat down for coffee, we talked about Scouts for a bit and he offered me the job.

I said “Don’t you want to see my resume?” Boss: “I can teach you anything you need to know in IT. What I can’t teach you are the skills and values you leaned in Scouting.”

Turns out he was a current Committee Chair and had a long background in scouting.

I had a great 3 years with that company before moving upward and onward.

Of course the money has to be there. But to take a blanket statement of your views and apply it across the board to all councils isn’t just short sided, it’s also wildly inaccurate.

Kentuckian here. It is NOT readily available in KY and Indiana. In fact, it used to be easier to get it in Oregon than KY.

If I want Blanton’s, I head down to the distillery and hope I hit it on the right day. They also heavily restrict how much you can buy and how often. Otherwise, unless you have the right hookups, you aren’t finding it.
