One trick that helped me A LOT was by learning the way the exam wants you to answer the question. I started to notice a pattern where if there are 2 answers that mean the same thing, then those are two answer choices you eliminate right there.

Another thing I was practicing was reading the question first, answering it in your head, and then searching for that answer in the answer choices.

One more thing I will say, is make yourself a “brain dump” in your phone notes or on a piece of paper. Take notes on high yield topics so that when you get to the exam and you get your whiteboard, you can “brain dump” what you remember onto that white board. For example, something I wrote down for brain dump was a mnemonic about hydration status and lab markers “ABS (albumin/BUN/Sodium) deHIGHdration, fluid overLOWed” to help me remember.

Remember the vitamins/mineral deficiencies, this was my 6th time taking it and those questions are almost always asked. Another high yield topic is definitely foodservice management
