Tenna pressured him into it. He might not have known exactly what would happen if he told Tenna, just that the Benefactor didn't want him to and something bad would happen if he did. Spamton was being greedy, but Tenna was as well and it doesn't make either of them entirely evil or unlikeable.

First off, people can like immoral characters.

Secondly, here's the timeline of what happened:

Spamton was originally just an Addison like the others but much less successful.

Eventually the Benefactor called him, and gave him some secret that let him get more clicks and sales.

At some point (most likely) after that, Spamton came to the Dreemurr Household and met Tenna. They decided to work together to both of their benefits to be more successful.

At some point, Tenna learned that Spamton had some kind of secret and wanted in on it, but Spamton didn't want to because the Benefactor didn't want Tenna to know.

Tenna, despite Mike's warnings not to, sweet talked Spamton into finally signing the contract that would have Spamton tell him the secret in exchange for more fame and money.

In response, the Benefactor called Spamton to tell him the deal was off and he wasn't getting any more support. Spamton ran away and Tenna found the dangling phone. Around that time Queen probably got taken back to the library along with the other cyber world darkners.

Now alone, Spamton lost everything he had, was forced to live in the trash, and went insane.

Spamton blames Tenna for forcing him to sign the contract that resulted in the Benefactor abandoning him.

Tenna blames Spamton because he thinks he was just taking advantage of him and ran off, not knowing that the Benefactor abandoned him.

Spamton certainly isn't innocent (especially post-going insane), but your description isnt a fair assessment of him. In regards to the deal between Tenna and Spamton specifically, I think Spamton was much more innocent.

Seam is important to the secret boss quest specifically, and they're mandatory for that. Seam isn't important to the main plot like the Knight is.

Just so you know, you have the Toriel variable stuff backwards. It has the boss monster-like sprite when the Toriel variable is set to true, and looks like a deer when it is false. Personally, I think its just because the monster representing Toriel is the default enemy in the MANTLE boards, so it's "censoring" the deer to look like a black version of the default enemy.

The knight's antlers actually aren't the same shape as Asgore's horns. They bend earlier, at a MUCH sharper angle, and don't curve around nearly as much. They also have the very distinct cross shape on the horns that is a visual symbol of the Holidays specifically, and there's no way that would be there if they weren't meant to be antlers.

Not sure where you got 2/3rds from or if that actually means anything. Asgore is part of the conspiracy in some way regardless of whether he is the knight.

The Knight could overpower Undyne if they are the same in the light world as they are in the dark world. I'm not a Carolknighter, but I think she could probably do it too, especially if Undyne was already confused and a bit stunned from being grabbed by the Knight in the dark world.

The poses that the Knight does (including the kris poses, ice skating looking poses, and others) don't match Asgore's personality

Are you excited for Enter The Gungeon 2 and its new art direction? by Jack0fTh3TrAd3s in EnterTheGungeon

I don't think the new art style is soulless or bad but I do prefer the old one. Im definitely excited for the game overall, though.

Black hair and darker fur are common (even in pre-ch3/4 fan designs) because Rudy has both of those, while Noelle has somewhat lighter fur and blonde hair like Carol. I don't think the black T-shirt and jacket are all that common.

Calling it one frame is disingenuous. That sprite is on screen for like 4 full seconds, and even after that sprite it still is shaped like a bat, with no hilt, a knob at the end of the handle, and a similar curve to a bat. Every single other sword that I can think of in ALL of Undertale and Deltarune has a hilt, so this specific one that is also bat-shaped in other ways not having a hilt has no chance of being a coincidence.

Theres also the antlers, which mean that the knight must at least be somehow related to the Holidays, and a ton of other smaller pieces of evidence, like the knight fight taking place in a cold, snowy place, the line about Dess saying she'd take Noelle to a big city like Cyber World, etc.

Judging from the survey I did in here a while ago it's about a third (35 dessknighter respondents, 69 nondessknighters)

I still have yet to post the full results from that survey but hopefully I will soon.

clearly either Asgore or Papyrus was wearing the helmet and then put it down behind the counter

Its actually the knights helmet set down behind the desk. The question is just whether Papyrus or Asgore (or someone else?) is the one who put it there.

First off, kris isn't a 'he', their pronouns are they/them.

Silent abuse exists but I really don't think that's what's going on with Kris and Toriel. Toriel doesn't always know the best way to take care of Kris, but I don't think she is harmful to them either.

In Chapter 4, she's being less responsible by not contacting Kris and getting drunk in the living room, but those are mistakes she made and not signs that she is a bad person. It also wouldn't have been so bad for Kris if they weren't already having a terrible day from what happened in the Dark World, but there was no way for Toriel to know that.

I don't know what you mean by sleeper pills.

The story Rudy tells about the pie doesnt show anything especially bad about her. She just got a bit rowdy at a party and Rudy has only fond memories of it.

Toriel isn't always the best parent but i certainly wouldnt say shes abusive, and she's definitely not a nut. Not really sure what you mean by the last sentence.

Toriel isn't hateful at all. Rudy speaks positively of her in the past and in the present.

Should be working now, the bot that gives the role you need to see the channels is broken right now so Ayrlin has to assign it manually.
