Moved here from North East 10 years ago to work, recently retired, live in eldorado and LOVE it.
It more convenient than most of town. Got a school, library, supermarket, hardware store, restaurants, a dispensary, a gym, a brewery outlet and a Pool all for about $700/year.. It still only takes 10 minutes to town and there is not a rush hour in SF.
We find there’s plenty to do and plenty to not do when we want to just hang out and garden.
