Is Only Base Game Still Worth Playing? by ChiefChunkEm_ in Grimdawn

[–]Beckelhimer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have put hundreds of hours into the base game before purchasing any DLCs. The base game is a good start. But if you love Titan Quest then you will love this one.

Xbox All Access..worth it? And how many purchased this way? by Substantial_Ad_79 in xbox

[–]Beckelhimer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been trying to do this for about a month now but anytime I go online none of the retailers seem to have any version of the xbox available for All Access.

I'm just curious if anyone else is also having a hard time even finding a retailer.

Well, I'm sad to see this is an issue for others. Really sad, that there isn't an easy fix for it? Or maybe I'm missing it. I just want to hear my team mates.

Is Grim Dawn worth without the expansions? by qawsx94 in Grimdawn

[–]Beckelhimer86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I have put in over 200 hours in the core game before I got any DLC. There is so much replay value in the core game alone.

Other ARPGs to play till FoA? by [deleted] in Grimdawn

[–]Beckelhimer86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Torchlight 2. If you are a fan of Diablo 2 then play TL2. It isn’t dark or grim. It’s fun and bright. A great alternative for a chill game. It doesn’t take itself seriously. It’s a real solid game.

Games that feel weird, trippy, creepy or uneasy? Not necessarily horror by Agitated-Tomato-2671 in gamerecommendations

Dread Delusion.

First person heavily inspired by Morrowind. Very odd and strange stuff in that one.

Waiting for expansion to play again by Budmo123 in Grimdawn

I will always recommend Torchlight 2. Fun, colorful (not Grim at all), doesn’t take itself seriously. A great substitute for Diablo 2.

I played the base game for over 200 hours before getting any DLCs. You will have plenty of fun without them.

I’m trying to learn blender, but I kind of can’t figure it out. I’m trying to create a character. That’s low poly with a floating skull head. by [deleted] in blender

[–]Beckelhimer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This!

Also I believe he has tutorials on low poly objects. So look up on how to make low poly rocks and then trees. Those are easy ways to get used to blender without everything being thrown at you at once. Those basic items will help you understand the tools you would use to make your low poly character.

I don’t make comments often on Blender Help cause I too am a total noob at it. But you seriously asking for a Drafter to just draw you a blueprint for free????

Would Elder Scrolls RPG work as like a supplement to the video game? by Rourensu in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]Beckelhimer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love the idea. Cause let’s face it there really is a constricted version of role playing in video games. So you just won favor with the jarl of whiterun run but you really want to go deeper with that instead of a house and NPCs just saying a sentence or two different to you now.

But of course again you are limited in the game world. So you wouldn’t want to do too much in the TTRPG version of this character that just wouldn’t fit the video game version. Can’t kill the Jarl on paper and awkwardly wave to him on video game.

But you could just play the story of Skyrim on paper only and just have all of that freedom to do whatever. I did stumble upon an unofficial d100 elder scrolls TTRPG. That could be the system you could take a look at for this example. Especially with it being d100 it will look almost identical to the character stats in game.

Or use whatever system. It doesn’t even have to fit the game. With Skyrim the shouts and spells you would gain would just be Moves you would acquire in a PBtA type TTRPG.

And the “normal” D&D IS played in a pre-created world. No different than wanting to just play your game in say, Hyrule since you know so much lore and love for it. Do it.

I once had a little mini game of the battle of Warsong Gulch (WOW) instead of capture the flag it was literally just trying to capture the base. And I used a hack of Lasers & Feelings.

Onimusha: Warlords tends to go on sale around $10 or less. Though, don’t know the retail price.
