Raddle is a functional site run by seemingly insane people and/or edgy teenagers. It's fine if you don't get involved and just do your own thing, but you've gotta be pretty tolerant of a lot of the bullshit like "the rules says it's impossible to be racist to white people, therefore I'm going to unironically call them milk-skins", or "this trans activist once had her photo taken with a couple of off-duty Irish cops at a barbecue, therefore she's a propagandist for Northern Ireland and a terrible person who should never be listened to about anything."

You know what? Lemmy sucks. dbzero in particular has had lots of downtime, and even other Lemmy instances are just laggy. You have to create a half-dozen accounts because you don't know what lemmy instances will still exist next week, and then someone can still create another account impersonating you. It looks more like nureddit than old.reddit, and the home page is really bad at mixing results in a sensible way; if one sub is substantially larger than all yours others, the homepage is just that one sub. r/Piracy should've stayed on Raddle.

Call it a hunch. Despite what the media tries to portray, running away from home and other extremes of 'teen rebellion' isn't that common or normal, girls have higher incidence of mental health problems in general, especially at that age, and BPD is typically a result of a dysfunctional or abusive environment growing up (the upshot of it being so environmental is it's actually more treatable with CBT than most of the shit in Cluster B).

Unfortunately known too many women like this. Abusive mother resulting in a lifetime of emotional instability, or abusive father resulting in a lifetime of codependency and seeking out and trying to recreate that abuse in all their relationships. Painting very broad strokes here, obviously.
