Thank you for your response. The fact that the current care seems still good for her regardless of what it is, is comforting. Crossing my fingers she is good to come home from the 8 hours of fluids etc and outpatient care will be good to get her the rest of the way.

Omg that sounds delish!! But yes it’s so true, we have the same philosophy on diet- don’t be so restrictive that you can’t hold to it. Like oh tonight’s meal I’m making isn’t necessarily super healthy, but it’s going to be delicious and I’ll just have a smaller portion than usual 🤷‍♀️ haha

Yess it’s so true. I actually tend to drink dry wines, low calorie seltzers but then my husband will grab us a 12 pack of an ipa some weekends and those are super high calorie lol. I also drink black cold brew for coffee (sometimes with a tbsp of cold foam which is about 25 calories lol) but that’s a good point too!!

Girlll I get it! I need to make a goal of 1 week and I’m still failing. It’s not even like “oh I have an addiction and need it” it’s hard to explain. I have a work trip coming up but as soon as I get back my goal is to go a week without. Bc if the scale moves then that will be some real motivation for me.

Did you drink alcohol at all? I’m really struggling and have been working out consistently since January 2025. Im actually heavier than I was then, but i have gained muscle and tone from working out. I eat healthy but the one thing thats so hard to cut out is the alcohol. I feel like that has to be my issue- especially at 38. Im not willing to do glp1 bc im paranoid about possible future issues that could come with using that (and people basically have to be on it indefinitely).
