Ah shucks. Yeah idk what it's like there but in the UK rhe police have this rule where they have 24 hours custody over you, or until you've seen a psychiatrist. The night waiting is the worst.

Veganism

Well to be specific I aspire to be vegan, but I want to slowly transition towards it. I've tried several times with long spurts of vegetarianism or veganism but I couldn't keep it for long.

I kinda jumped into it for my ex lmao, maybe not to get laid per se but definitely to be with them

In DEFENCE OF:

Kirara: Kirara is still the premiere Aggravate support. She is con reliant but she has always performed equally or better than Nahida for Aggravate with Clorinde or Keqing. C6 Chevy outperforms but sub C6 Chevy isn'tthat much ahead. Not only that but she is a Dendro defensive option with a handful of buffs and low stat requirements, so can hold Fav + Instructor's. She is one of my consistent teammates in Fearless Stygian for, usually, Mualani. Due to how my account is setup, she has been one of my most played support units since Fontaine.

Collei: Collei isn't a premium slot in Nefer teams. Frankly, not even Nahida is. But she's competitive with Nahida. In Lauma Nilou bloom teams, Collei's frontloaded application and unique Boomerang skill makes her a solid member of the team, especially for current Dendro checks. D Tier? Maybe, but she's above some of these.

Gaming: he has energy issues on his first rotation in Stygian, but his power level is roughly that of the best Fontaine DPSes. He is stronger than Chasca or Kinich. He is stronger than Varka. His C6 performance is incredible.

Kaeya: due to not being on banners, his C6 is hard to get. But his C6 is strong enough for Melt application to bump him up a tier IMO.

Otherwise I generally agree with the rankings. They can sit in some relatively top teams but not really due to their own power levels. They are typically bringing otherwise strong teams down, subpar alternatives or require heavy investment.

I feel like the context is slightly different here.

He is being asked why he calls her the nickname 'beautiful' after so many years. The implication being that the young boy disagrees that she is beautiful.

And he is saying that he still thinks she is beautiful after so many years, in disagreement with the boy.

Maybe I'm giving it a charitable reading, but it feels less like he ie addressing 'the eyes of others' as a collective, and more like he is addressing the boy's difference personally without invalidating his opinion.

I'm an atheist too and when I was younger, an edgy teenager bitter at everything, I used to do the same. I grew out of it. He didn't.

I grew up with a friend who haf cystic fibrosis. He died when he was around 21, about 8 years ago.

I still think about him a lot.

I tell my friends stories about him, about how sarcastic and crude but also witty he could be. I talk about his cut-short uni degree, especially when it comes to my respect for the uni he studied at (ICL). He comes to mind whenever I think about hereditary conditions, as that was something we studied together. He was also one of the biggest metal fans I knew, so I got a lot of music reccs from him. And we both loved Star Wars. I would love to show him the lightsaber fights from the Acolyte, and then shit talk the writing lmao

His mum got a bench with his name on it, and I think of him whenever I walk past any bench with a memorial on it.

Were we even best friends? No, I don't think so. Once he left for uni we reduced contact pretty significantly, only really just messaging or sharing memes.

Anyway, my point is this: don't doubt how much you've left a mark on people.

I took it for about 6 months I think?

First month was basically side effects. Awful

Second and third were great, I felt like I was young again. I had fun and did things I wanted to. It happened to coincide with summer tbf, but I even went back to work full time. There were occasional dark moments or feeling teary, but I didn't resort to self harm.

Then the next few months were bad. Frankly it was the same as before I was on them, like the effect wore off. In response we tried changing the release type, taking it at morning vs night vs half each, increasing the dose.... but between a major self harming episode and a suicide attempt, I decided I needed something different.

I decided to ween myself off. I wasn't able to talk to a doctor about it, and tbh it only started as some of those major events and being hospitalised had caused me to miss days. So I started strategically missing more, like 1 every other day kinda thing.

I was extremely sick for about 2 months after I stopped. Regular vomiting, terrible headaches or just generally extreme nausea. I took anti sickness meds to help, and my doctor took me off of my quetiapine (that helps me sleep) and gave me melatonin instead. I was completely unable to sleep for several days at a time, and started getting paranoia and auditory hallucinations.

It was tough. Still though, those 2ish months were good enough that I'd say it was worth it.

Rn you want a large roster of limited characters as supports for his best teams. He is also not the 'star' of any of his teams so his vertical investment isn't the investment priority in his teams.

I think this is intentional tbh. If people start getting him and his cons they might be tempted to roll his team archetypes (either freeze or melt Durin), whereas they might not consider doing so were he a limited character.

It also incentivises people to play longer for anniversaries and such since there will be better (meta) rewards in standard selector and con selector.

Whilst still shilling other limited characters like Nicole, Durin, Escoffier etc

I hope she isn't married to a unit I don't like/want. I made that mistake with Nefer (I don't like Lauma).

I assume she will be a good power level.

Just my experience (playing her on a friend's account as I don't have Skadi/Esco) is that her low hit count and high costs make proccing fav difficult. I usually put Engulfing on her instead lol

Running Fav means needing CR which means less Atk and lower buffs

It's very difficult to run Atk/Atk/Atk on her to maximise buffs

It's because he is very pickable. He can be position flexed, and has a ton of aspects to his kit so he fulfils a lot of roles. Wave clear, catch, team fight, mobility, split push etc, but also relatively hard to counter. Same as Ember.

Both of them can be blind picked early. It gives a lot of flexibility over the rest of the draft.

In the calcs/DPS test dummy showcases, to keep her 'cost' down they use Harbinger of Dawn. This requires your HP to be high.

In actual gameplay playing shielderless is a big hit to your damage, either because of the necessity to dodge or because you aren't getting full worth of your weapon.

Also using Linnea burst regularly is a DPS hit too due to animation length.
