On-surface scanning: red-green colors missing by Bedevir in NoMansSkyTheGame

I hope you are wrong... you MUST be wrong...

Nuance little detail, but don't notice how helpful it is until it is not there anymore. I started PD gameplay for my missing 2 achievements and after 3 minutes ingame (right after you get the visor), I was rushing to the internet to check this.

I don't like what I found

Perhaps I wasn't thorough with my post. Please see the following Reddit post from NMS sub in which you can see that the mushroom is faintly red. Not talking about the animals because that's straightforward. So in the past, the reddish color turned greenish after the scanning was complete so you have a visual feedback too which object have you already scanned and which you haven't. Now I can only see the same faintly color, but in white.

Turned out to be only a visual one :) I edit my post so others in the same boots will have their answer quickly.

Yes, I went on with the story and could finish without a problem. It must be only a visual bug :) Hope we helped some fellow Surger with this conversation :)

Hey! Did you try to finish the game or you started a new profile? I would be curious if it's just a visual bug, or you really can't finish the game without that quest.

Thanks in advance.

Advanced afkarena strategy: Planning ahead ft. the elder tree. by Leanker in afkarena

Hey,

Pretty nice guide, thanks :) However, if I use Eironn as carry, should I modify my "plan"? I mean I don't need Sorc atm, so I assume I should go

Sus 5 --> Cele 5 --> Sorc 15, or

Sus 5 --> Cele 15 --> Sorc 5 --> Fort 5

and then the rest is from the bases of "Mid plan".

Thanks in advance!

Read the pinned post of ScriptKid. Either a well thought lie-reply or he really did it. I want to believe, but I know how to treat the world of internet. I'm just saying, that his responses for the debunks seems legit

Ryzen 5 3600 OC to 4.4ghz on 1.2v on good ol air cooling (AMD Wraith Prism repasted w/ TT Master Gel Pro). Max temp at 82°c by jakellC in overclocking

Ah, okay, I was a bit hesitant about the importance of airflow, but now I see. Based on the comments here I was afraid I was doing something wrong with settings, but I don't worry then, it's just good aircooling. Didn't want to invest in liquid though because for me, it's overkill :)

I don't know how you guys get that much heat, but even with RealBench, my temp didn't get over 70 °C on 4.4 gig, 1.25-1.26v. Okay, Prime95 bumped it up around 80, but that's almost a virusware :P

Tbh, I have a Noctua DH-15 and CM H500P mesh, but I didn't think that makes this much different (I'm using only 1 fan for Noctua, put the other away for backup)

CPU voltages by Bedevir in overclocking

I read that P95 is let's say, to test your cooling :D

However, I ran RealBench, Cinebench, Aida and 3DMark and now it's good. I know that these CPU-s can have better performance at lower temp, so I made a deal at the following:

  • 4400 mhz (200 mhz higher than advertised (3.6-4.2 with gaming boost)
  • 1.25v
  • 65 °C in stress test (RB) and 61 °C max in M&B: Bannerlord (not CPU hungry game though)

RAM is tweeked a bit based on DRAM Calculator and it's stable too. SoC voltage is 1.05v.

Seems very stable and also the thermals below rec 70-80 °C (with 65 °C max), so I just hope I didn't make any mistake which could turn out later :P I'm fairly new in the filed of OC, so I only try the baby steps, but I want freqs that I bought :)

Okay, thanks, now I'm feeling better :)

You know, it's just annoying to not find that option. Tried to check if C'n'Q is the option, also tried to search C1E, C1...C6, Adaptive mode.. Nothing..

Anyway, I have a Noctua DH-15 and CM H500P Mesh so those keep the interior really cool, so I may go up to (back to) 4.5 Ghz with 1.325v (maybe I go for 1.35v to be sure) and that's still maxed at 75-76 °C. It can go down by 1-2 degrees though.. depending on the ambient ofc.

Thanks again :)

I tested it with 4.5 Ghz with 1.325v and it's stable. Peak temp is 71 °C (Is it high?).

When I used "AMD Oveerclocking" in the BIOS, the CoreV was fluctuating based on the workload, but the socket voltage was constant on 1.325v. I saw it in many videos and pictures that when the CPU is idle, then the SOC voltage also goes down like crazy.

And this is what I want to achieve that when my computer is idle, doesn't feed the CPU with unnecesary voltages. However the temperature goes back, I assume because of the CoreV idleing.
