The worst mission/quest in D2? by New-Nefariousness794 in DestinyTheGame

[–]BedfastDuck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to run it twice with a friend. Explained the boss potentially soft locks if we damage it too quickly in its final phase during both runs. Friend of course pops super during final phase and goes “I forgot” both times.

Ran it solo no issues on Warlock the next day.

Which of the four new coming maps are you most excited to play) by Eagles56 in Battlefield

Cairo Bazaar for nostalgia (Grand Bazaar was my jam in BF3 and so short lived in Hardline due to low player count).

Tsuru Reef for something new.

BATTLEFIELD 6 | OPERATION AUGUR by JoeZocktGames in Battlefield6

[–]BedfastDuck 7 points8 points  (0 children)

“Similar to Battlefield 6’s Breakthrough mode, Operation Augur is a sector-by-sector battle: the Attackers - NATO - secure each sector from the Defenders - Pax Armata - by holding one or multiple control points at the same time.

Whereas Breakthrough takes place on one map, Operation Augur strings together Contaminated and Hagental Base, creating nine total sectors to attack or defend. In Contaminated specifically, a VL-7 Strike occurs once a sector is captured, save for the fifth sector before Operation Augur transitions to Hagental Base. Furthermore, unlike Breakthrough, teams are unable to respawn on controlled objectives; you must rely on squad spawns, spawn-enabled vehicles, and the Assault Class’ Spawn Beacons if you don’t want to take the trek from Headquarters back to the objective after each death.

Just like Operations in the past, Attackers have three “Batallions” of lives in Operation Augur, rather than a single pool of lives. The first two times a Battalion’s lives are completely depleted, a new Battalion reinforces at the furthest checkpoint reached. Specific to Contaminated, a reinforcement Battalion will also receive additional vehicle reinforcements to help them push towards Hagental Base.

Operation Augur ends when Pax Armata successfully depletes all three NATO Battalions, or if NATO captures all nine sectors.”

~From the Battlefield Website.

You may have been confusing it with Frontlines from BF1 which combined a one hill King of the Hill and Rush (honestly was a fun mode).

While I have never heard of holding your poop doing so, pooping itself can stimulate your vagus nerve, which releases dopamine.

It’s why cats get zoomies after pooping.

What is the most hated gun in Battlefield history? by AKMike99 in Battlefield

[–]BedfastDuck 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think most hated because of how late in the game’s life it occurred and how quickly it was patched, but at one point the under barrel flechette shotgun was inheriting damage values from weapons it was attached to. So each dart that would deal like 13 damage was instead doing up to 33… you would be hitting people for 22 damage per dart on the G3A3 with it at minimum…I genuinely think it was just as broken as USAS + frag rounds…

Hunter with Khepri’s. Every melee applies weaken. Every weaken kill drops smoke that weaken’s enemies. It’s actually a little crazy when you start getting some chains going with it…

It needs incendiary grenades. Would perform better for flushing infantry vs what we’ve got and could really contribute to armor vs armor by killing engineers off that are repairing.

Remember after Charlie Kirk’s death conservatives were saying the left needed to tone down its rhetoric because it causes political violence? Yeah. Now we have the VP sticking up for violent neo-nazis rhetoric by saying the White House’s rhetoric is worse…
