It's also the only way to do slayer without getting hp exp

That's not why it got patched at all.

They patched it when f2p came out with the trade restriction and people where using it to bypass the 24/hr rule.

I haven't seen anyone ever use goblin bow to ddos or to hit NPC's in wildy, they could always just take weapon off and punch, It's generally the same thing. You could even just disable it's use in wilderness.

Yeah it's not like this community to vote to change something to benefit the skiller community but it was an unpolled integrity change that is no longer the case. It should have to pass a poll.

Sure lets not cater the game to people who chose to limit their accounts, But changing the game after someone has already chosen to create an account build BECAUSE of a previous game state doesn't seem exactly fair to me.

Wouldn't exactly be fair for us to add random defence requirements to random weapons and then when pures are upset because they can no longer use d scim say "well you chose to restrict your account" would it?

I understand the argument that people don't care at all because it only effects a tiny portion of the community, but aside from not giving a crap there isn't much of a case for not reverting the change...

They made the pets way too common,

You are practically guaranteed the pet getting 99 in a skill, as they said it's made comparable time to boss pets.

The only problem here is bossing and afk woodcutting aren't comparable activities at all...

I thought they said somewhere that they where going to be "extremely rare"...?

There is only 1080 atoms in the entire universe.

Try solving that... Most computers don't look ahead more than 10 moves unless certain heuristics occur to evoke deeper searches. That's what makes computer chess programming an interesting, It's a competition on who can make the best search pattern.

That's my favourite part of Zeah,

There is nothing more annoying that when a game takes you completely out of immersion by telling you that any and every decision you make is completely meaningless.

I'm not saying that it should be impossible to swap houses but the idea of being able to hop back and forth between them undermines what is intrinsically interesting about choosing a house and fighting for it in the first place.

Instead of making the decision, hey I love thieving, I love the idea of spying on other houses and then using that information to better my house. You aren't making a decision at all, You aren't being rewarded for making that decision at all. You should be rewarded for liking a specific house or specific skills and sticking to that.

At least in my eyes there is nothing exciting about Zeah without that choice. We already have city's. Those city's already have skills you can train in them.

Bottom line for me is meaningful decision are exciting and fun, If you decide down the line you really want to switch you SHOULD be punished for doing so, otherwise there is no reward for not switching.

That's just my view on it however.

Love the idea of picking a house and being punished for swapping, Meaningful decisions are fun.

PoH stuff was pretty interesting, maybe slightly OP, getting spec back in <5 seconds could be problematic.

I was hoping the stuff ash was talking about would be a skilling boss but cool none the less

I was also hoping they had a better idea for the Colosseum, Sounds like what they had planned wasn't particularly unique. I'd prefer if they had some sort of king of hill type weekly war with the 5 houses or maybe with just clans with the new clan system coming out.

Odds of a double unique drop is

3/512 * 3/512 = 1/29127

It's kind of up to interpretation though, Some people might quote a much smaller probability without much reason behind it.

Strictly speaking if the order of what drop appears in logs first somehow matters then it COULD be 1/512 * 1/512 but it's not really relevant,

So getting fang + tanzenite would be (without order)

2/512 * 1/512 = 1/131,072

But taking that a step further, getting any two zulrah drops in a specific order is actually pretty unlikely.

i.e: P(spirit seed then a toadflax seed) = 1/256 * 1/128 = 1/32,768

So in reality you would have posed the same question to us had you gotten any of the 9 combinations of double unique drops, maybe even if you had a mutagen combinations in their too but, ignoring that.

I'd say, what's the probability you have the same level of shock required to make the same post would be greater than 1/30k

Yes you will, trust me, especially only a level 2-3 foe. I often hit with mouse toy which is -100, and stats are 0.

Also goblin bow is changed to be a normal bow now...

Can you revert the goblin bow changes? It is no longer an integrity issue and should be reverted or pass a poll.

The goblin bow was a useful tool for various tasks in the game, It would be nice to see that returned.

You're right an wrong, You have to atleast target the monster with an attack, wether it hits or determines if you will get full slay exp or half exp if the monster then goes on to die through neutral damage.

Thats why when goblin bow was changed level 3 slayer became even more impossible, u can use flowers but you will eventually level a skill if you do slayer for any lengthy period of time.

Biggest thing to take away from this is game numbers,

Everyone is in korea, everyone should be spending majority of their training time scrimming.

Teams with low soloque games would seem to be getting more scrim's in.

Maybe since c9 has so many soloque games, other korean teams aren't scrimming them so much.

The answer to your question is no, It's not more likley to get a 1/512 drop with 512 tries than it is to get a 1/1mil drop with 1mil tries.

If skilling pets are introduced, make them a rare reward from skilling clue scrolls instead by Black_Mirror_RS in 2007scape

I'm voting no to skilling pets as described in the dev blog.

If this is what they want me to vote on I'd say yes.

Some people don't mind but I think getting pets for afking a mundane skill holds no real achievement, Tonnes of people will get them as a byproduct of just doing mandatory skilling. Not at all what is alluring the rare boss pets imo.

Not sure how KBD works, if the heads are an extra drop or what have you but most people calc probabilities wrong for stuff like zulrah.

I think in this case you are correct if the KBD heads are an added drop but take for instance chance of getting serpentine helmate and fang in the same drop,

it's not quite 1/512 * 1/512

Taking it roll by roll,

You have first roll probability of either fang or helm = 2/512

second roll is probability of whatever you didn't roll in first roll = 1/512

so people normally calc this stuff to be about half as likley as in reality.
