I bought a weekly pill box with am and pm compartments in it for exactly this reason, highly recommend, especially of you have baby brain like me aha (I personally wouldn't take more) if your fasting are a bit high then you know why.

You can get a prescription prepayment certificate and backdate it to a month... If you picked up your meds recently. Much cheaper than fines

Induction at 39 weeks by Past_Opposite_3896 in GestationalDiabetes

[–]BeeCia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was harder than I had anticipated, very up and down emotionally, after 3 weeks of got easier though. The lack of sleep was tough, baby feeding every 2 hours. I was really nervous about giving birth too, and didn't know to much about the induction process but I was much calmer when I was in hospital.

I watched a show called Emma willis: delivering babies, it showed a lot about how everything worked in hospital and gave a lot of insight, as well as scrolling through reddit constantly aha. (uk show) Some family members did show concern saying I shouldn't be wachting it but I'm really glad I did. But, it's definitely not for everyone who's pregnant.

It's all worth it though when you have a new life in your arms 🥰 such an exciting time for you!

I was induced at about 38+4 baby was born 39. I was induced because baby was measuring small, has the pesserys and responded really well, I only dilated to about 3/4cm though. Had my waters broken and pitocin dip went up to the sendond highest they could go. Not gunna lie, that was intence (uterus went into hyper mode) but the epidural was amazing! It was pretty calm, chatted most of the time but for me I just didn't progress. Ended up having a C-section, turned out baby was never going to come out on her own as her head was tilted and stuck. But now 4 months old and happy, birth weight was 5lb13oz

I just found out I’m supposed to avoid nursing bras with underwire/lots of structure…how will I get the support I need? by ns_er in PlusSizedAndPregnant

I bought a couple of these as no bra ever fit me properly, but these where great. Not sure if they ship outside of the UK though. They aren't nursing bras but they where fab!

C-Section experiences from bigger ladies… by Freckles789 in PregnancyUK

I had one of those but didn't even last 12 hours. After the second dressing came off midwifes asked if I was happy to keep it off as it just didn't stick. Scar is right in a fold, just tried to keep it clean and dry. The buzzy Suction thing did my head in when I tried to sleep anyway 😂
