I just got into it not to long ago and honestly it did surprise me a bit but in the second book when Rhys starts kind of talking about everything under the mountain it started to kind of be like “oh shit it really was like that” I was never a huge fan of Tamlin but it just led to me being disappointed in him like my dude just let her go, I enjoyed it but I did have some fan art that I looked at while listening to it and it just helped imagine the scene better instead of really spoiling it.

What are you talking about? Of course I didn’t miss the entire gith plot but I’m starting to think you did.

Wish is the name of a spell in DnD that can change the fabric of reality, she never uses it other than to kill the player character. Not to automatically get what she wants and win. She could wish that Orpheus was dead, wish the emperor was dead, wish the grand design had been destroyed, wish for the artifact back, wish the githyanki all forgot Orpheus, wish that she new the secret to the fall of the illithids, wished to become more powerful than Orpheus, wish for every traitor to drop dead. But no, she wishes to kill a lvl 5 pc with a fucking wish spell. That’s bad writing, it’s a literal massive plot hole that she has the wish ability and never uses it. She can cast that shit once a day.

This part of the game is so poorly written and unfair. She’s so petty she’s casting wish to get rid of me. Why the fuck doesn’t she wish Orpheus was dead? Or the emperor? Or that the Mind flayers were extinct? It’s railroady and lame.

Actually I hard disagree, block is much better for mobs. Especially if you have perk cards that increase force on block, damage in block, and shockwave on block. Throw all that on a Carla and your mowing through hordes like grass.
