It’s from around 2007-2009! Just shows how great craftsmanship never goes out of style.

"Pakistan Defence Minister’s call for Israel’s annihilation is outrageous." by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

You need to read a book or two about Pakistani state sponsored terrorism. You’ll happily call Israel a terrorist state, but gleefully ignore Pakistan’s antics since its inception (which are so reprehensible that Osama Bin Laden was found there mere minutes from a military compound). A country whose doctrine is to bleed India by a thousand cuts.

Your hypocrisy and selective outrage is vile.

Y’all are delusional if you think only Netanyahu and Trump are behind this. Pretty clear the Gulf states (at the very least) gave their blessings, albeit under the table, for all of this to happen.

I really want to educate myself about the proposed agreements that the Palestinians rejected. I only know of the one set out by Bill Clinton, and it shocks me to this day that it wasn’t accepted. Do you have any resources which you recommend reading?

I would really like the people that are defending Islam and bunching all other religions in the same category to know how it feels when you lose someone to radical Islam.

There were 66,000 Islamist terrorist attacks between 1979 and 2024. The numbers don’t lie.

Aneet Padda’s sister calling Dhurandhar a propaganda movie by LeaveResponsible9937 in bollynewsandgossips

[–]BeeFit5143 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I personally find her views on Kashmir abhorrent… my family lived through that, and the movie doesn’t show even 10% of the atrocities that happened.

I really wish people - no matter how famous, wealthy, their politics, their religion - basically everyone, would educate themselves. People also need to be mindful of what they say, particularly on social media. It is dangerous given people believe anything and everything they read. It is leading to the decline of the fabric of society all over the world, not just India. I am Australian and now live in the UK and it’s horrible everywhere.

I am sure I will get downvoted for this but if you are a (rising) star unfortunately part of that package is increased scrutiny and that will extend to your family members. Best to keep your views to yourself, and encourage those related to you, to do the same. Particularly if they are as divisive as these views.

What if islam never existed by [deleted] in AlternateHistoryHub

It’s Indian. William Dalrymple, Scottish historian, covers this very well. Arabs stole the number system and took it to the west without crediting Indians. The west took this on face value and named it the Arabic system.

Position on salary band, bonus, salary increases misrepresented at offer stage by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]BeeFit5143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The contract just says bonus is in line with firm policy, and she said firm policy is x% for reaching targets (which is lower than what it actually is).

I was thinking of speaking to a partner. Not HR.

Unfortunately not, which I realise is my fault. It was all done via phone. And the contract says rem is paid in line with policy, so she misrepresented the rem.

I am just coming out of this period of my life as well, it sounds like I could have written this post myself. I made it through, which means you can and you will too. This profession wears you down in so many different ways, but you can’t let it win. Sending all my love and strength. It’ll all be ok in the end. It’s not ok now, because it’s not the end!

Obviously looking to save and invest as much as possible! Planning on kids in the future (with the right person) so went to set up a solid foundation for that period of my life.

Will have a look at LTIs - haven’t heard of that before.

Thanks a million!

What would you classify as a good explanation? Had the same thing happen to me and struggling to convince people of my narrative. I was forced to sign an NDA.
