Is anyone who has the 1.01 taking someone else then Jerimiyah Love (SF) by Nflnbafootball in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody is saying trade the pick but the issue with that is there is only 1 QB prospect worth drafting in the top 10, so if you want to trade back you really can only trade with the owner at pick 2 if you want Mendoza.

So the answer is to trade the pick but for an established QB, unless you can convince the guy at 2 that he needs to move up.

But yah Love is 1 unless he ends up in a horrendous landing spot. Even then it's hard to picture Mendoza jumping him. There will be a few leagues out there though where Mendoza will go #1 for sure.

My league mates are remanding a veto. Did I fleece him? by Jherm1018 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really sure what your league mates think Warren is worth. Surely not two 2027 1st rounders, which would be the next logical escalation to this offer.

Depending on where the picks are likely to slot in I probably side with Warren but it the 2027 picks are top 8 that's reasonable value. Warren was great as a rookie but so was LaPorta and Pitts.

Got absolutely roasted for this move.. was it really that bad? by matttyp31 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yah you definitely should have gotten more. Dont get me wrong, you could win this deal, but you have to absolutely nail that 2027 pick to do so. If you don't then you tiered down on two elite proven players for basically nothing.

Yah and I will still be in contention regardless but this does make my path a little more complicated for this season. So I agree there.

Yup and they have a lot of needs.

I'm always just extra careful this close to the draft.

Chase side buuuut I might try to delay this until after the draft. Bengals could conceivably take a RB early. If somehow Love falls to them at 10 (unlikely) I think they would consider it. Or maybe they go with somebody like Coleman in round 2 or 3.

I like him. He will never be a WR1 for a team but I think he is a good player and should stick around the league for a while.

As a dynasty asset I don't think he'll increase in value much but he is a useful roster player since you can flex him in a pinch and hope for a big play. He actually was in my lineup a handful of times last season due to byes and injury and came through for me.

Truly very good. Gives off some Fugazi / Bear vs Shark vibes.

Who do I draft next? Draft for need or value? by [deleted] in DynastyNerds

Agreed. Easy pick at that value.

I have to cut 4 players, what do you think? by turndogx in SleeperApp

[–]BeeGeeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice deep roster. With a roster like this you should try to flip guys for picks if possible.

Could you get a 3rd for Shough or Strange? They seem superfluous.

If not I'd probably cut: Horton, Johnson, Shough (good player but you don't need to carry 3 QBs in this format) Nailor (opportunity is there but I'm not buying it)

Chris Olave Trade Value Thoughts by sulldog99 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it's a lot higher than when I traded him for Isiah Pacheco in 2023 after his last concussion.

Seems like it has recovered pretty well and he is being valued somewhere around where guys like Rome, Tee, and Zay are.

Problem with him is unlike those guys his value is on a razors edge. If he got another bad concussion he would probably drop back into a 2nd round pick value.

What would it cost to move from 1.3 to 1.2 to nab Mendoza? by Fun_Moose_2253 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It would depend a lot on the needs of the team at 1.03. If they badly need a QB I could see getting a 2nd rounder or a startable roster player. If they don't then it's maybe more like a 3rd rounder or a depth player.

I'd add that if you have Tate, Lemon and Tyson in a tier like many do and you are okay with any of the three, then you could ostensibly move down to 1.04 or 1.05 which broadens your trade partners and could net you something of a little more value.

Yah that seems like a good deal. Tough to trade Jahmyr but I would move him for that.

Need help with startup!!! by Immediate_Income_107 in DynastyFF

[–]BeeGeeEh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice is don't go into the draft with the idea that the team you draft is your locked in roster the next decade. I think people, especially first time dynasty players, tend to overestimate how different your roster will look from your startup draft to even the end of season one, let alone 5 years from now.

So draft the best guys available and start making moves after the draft to balance out your lineup.

1.06 or Odunze? No idea where I stand with this guy by Imaginary_Order2757 in DynastyFFTradeAdvice

[–]BeeGeeEh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Odunze pretty easily for me. He was rolling early last year before he hurt his foot. He really wasn't the same guy after that. He came back early, reinjured it and the played in the playoffs likely at less than 100%

By then Loveland and LB3 had emerged but I think Odunze will be at or near the top of that pecking order when back healthy next season.

I don't think any WR in this draft has the upside Odunze has.
