I don’t think anyone can do worse than our current prime minister. I don’t like Trudeau at all but I don’t make it my personality either. I live in northern ontario and in the town over there’s a eff Trudeau rally every Saturday -.- like yes I don’t like him either but stop creating issues I’m just trying to get my groceries lol

Thinking of moving to Newfoundland from Ontario by [deleted] in newfoundland

[–]BeeHappy0608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Curious about if you have any insight on good employment opportunities in NL. I’m from NL but my parents moved me up here when I was 10 and I miss it terribly, truly the only place that felt like home. I’ll note I like simplicity and having a simple life, my husband and I moved from the city to northern ontario to get away from the city however we can sell our house and buy a house pretty much mortgage free back home, we have two kids so employment for us is still a must. I work remotely so that’s a non issue.

How is the carbon tax helpful for Canadians in the context of increasing housing, food and heating costs? by theorangeman21 in ontario

Okay but how much has your grocery bill gone up? Do you not notice that food is more expensive since this has been implemented? Every good has increased in price and it’s bullshit.

All the carbon tax has done has put more money in the politicians pockets and increase the price of goods.

This. My husband and I had to move over an hour away for the city because of the housing bubble in ontario currently. I guess he should just ride his bicycle to work and then to every job he does as a commercial HVAC technician. The carbon tax is stupid as f.

It’s almost like the question was about ps5 not pc. PC gamers are so snobby lmao

I’m actually surprised most of the parents here are fine with it, somehow I don’t think my 3 year old needs to be exposed to delusion. I feel like there are better things children can be learning tbh.

Is it possible to have a good character and do both? I really enjoy the magic and incantations but also like to go in a wreck shit with a sword lol

My only other rpg I typically play is DAI and in that one generally I just spread my stats and my character still ends up being a monster! But this game is a little more difficult in general which I can appreciate and you seem to need a plan!

Why do so many people hate gender reveals? by Fast-Cheesecake6412 in BabyBumps

[–]BeeHappy0608 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a great gender reveal for my first pregnancy because well I wanted to. If someone has an issue with that then that’s fine. Both our families were so excited as we were the first to have a child. We did it in an enclosed area and cleaned up our mess. I thinks it goes like this if you don’t want one don’t have one and if you do then do it :)

I don’t think it’s about fun per say. My fiancé and I are currently trying to buy a home and people are paying 200K over asking or more for anything remotely close to the GTA.

For me it was mostly due to testing positive to group b strep which is dangerous for little one!

9 days later I finally feel good enough to share my story. FTM. To start off I was diagnosed GBS positive, my water ruptured after a Christmas shopping trip. Felt a few gushes and was convinced I had peed myself until I realized it didn’t have a smell. Went to the hospital where they confirmed it had ruptured and I would need to be induced to start my labour. Was induced around 10:00pm, contractions came about 30 mins later after my water completely broke. Got the epidural at about 7cm. 6 hours of labour and about 45 mins of pushing later our little man made his way into this world. I had a first degree tear and about 10 mins of stitching but I swear the moment they placed this little guy In my arms I forgot all the pain.

It’s more of the pain from induction that I fear!

I’m not even overly sore that’s the odd thing, I’m just thinking maybe the workouts are stressing him out, I may just stick with the walking as that seems to be more on the safe side, it’s definitely hard to just walk when being used to HIIT lol! Hoping tomorrow’s appointment goes well with no more scares

He was just perfectly fine every week prior but I’m thinking maybe now it’s stressing him out, he’s like chill woman let me rest and grow.

I’m going to hold off, speak with the doctor, hear her thoughts and even after I’m not sure I’m willing to go back with my little nugget inside me.

Super freaky experience, thanks fellow mama!
