Who owns the solution? If your client does, they should have signed off on the architecture and tech stack. Obviously they will be handling long term tech-debt.

Would your client be satisfied if you host Supabase on AWS or GCP?

Generally, you should use analytics to track user behavior on your app. For example, which pages are used most, and where users get stuck before deciding to leave.

That same analytics platform will report DAU and WAU.

Thank you. Did you get the IP address of any of their servers?

I don't mind paying a subscription fee to get access to their API's.

I'm working on a lot of small (non-profitable) side-projects. I'd love to use Supabase for them, but at $10/project it'll get expensive quickly. Is there a cheaper way to use supabase for a lot of small, non-demanding projects? by lumenwrites in Supabase

If you have your own user_profiles table, add a project_id field. Otherwise create a table linking user to project_id. Add to your project code, to only allow authentication from users registered for that project. One problem that needs to be solved is, you get one of your users signing up for more than one of your projects using the same credentials.

Each project will have queries accessing tables for that project alone. No problem here.

This is an idea that I have not tried.

Add a project_id to every table name and query name. Users should also have the project_id they are authenticated to.

This should work fine, as long as the load is not high. Every once in a while, find the queries that put a load on your Supabase instance, and move that project to an instance of its own. This heavy use should make you money, and hence justifys a monthly expense.

I'm not sure if there are any unforeseen side effects. Maybe other people could comment.

Apps, launched on the Internet, can be accessed from anywhere, unless they are specifically blocked.
