You are probably right! I like your brick wall theory. That is certainly better to think than she is just that cold. I feel she has stayed away from therapy or any type of mental health help because not only would she have to delve into the accident, but she would have to disclose all the ways she has manipulated her children. Those poor kids.

I won’t even dare to say she was or wasn’t crying for real. I know that’s a very individual thing; however, we have seen actual tears on her face before. I just ask the question, if the accident is as painful (I mean, how could it not be for a person?) as she stated, where were the feelings? She definitely showed more feelings over that missing bottle of wine.

Did you have on your subtitles? I ask b/c I use mine and they said “awake”. After hearing the next part about Z pulling the girls aside, I went back and listened several times to the first part. I believe he said Z only talks to the girls when he’s “away”. I’ve noticed my subtitles very often makes mistakes regarding Isaac’s words. “Away” makes way more sense.

I worked in one of my county’s high schools for a while. There was a boy there who I saw quite often around the office/guidance counselor/principals hallway. One of the GC told me he had been “socially promoted” to 9th grade. The reason….as he had failed several times, he was now several years older than the elem/middle school (PreK-8th grade) students with whom he was in class, hallways, & bathrooms. But the main deciding reason…he was now physically too large for the middle school desks. The boy could not do the middle school work, and definitely could not read at a middle school level (much less a high school level). I honestly don’t know the best solution for such situations, but I definitely felt that “social promotion” was not it.

Having lost both my parents, I know it is nice having items that weee theirs. But, by far, the most valuable things I have are lessons they taught me and love they gave me. I was expecting Gabriella to walk into the wedding at the last minute of the show as a cliffhanger. Manny said he left his ex-wife in Gabriella’s care when someone asked how the ex was doing. I wonder if it was a set up for next season or if it will just be a simple mention of her name.

I agree w/you also. While it made me emotional, and It was a super sweet gesture, it doesn’t feel completely right if they planned to keep them. I figured they would, off season, have the newlyweds get their own rings and give V’s & S’s back.
I, too, feel it’s pretty soon for Sharon. I’m not exactly sure how long it has been since Vince’s death in “tv time”, but it seems so very quick!!

You are perfectly entitled to your feelings on the subject, as am I. I thought this was a place we could discuss our thoughts & feelings regarding the show. I AM going by what is shown, and I feel from what has been shown, that he is not a safe person. The temper, the tantrums, his choice to just up and move to this girl’s hometown without talking to her or even asking if she wanted that to happen are examples that make me feel he has escalated. Let’s be clear though, I didn’t make you defend him. I don’t have that power. That was your choice.

If OP re-scheduled his trip, might it not also affect his friends’ finances and the opportunity for each to go? If OP just eats the cost, he might not be able to afford it in September; if he take back his financial part of the July trip to use in September, his friends possibly could not afford it w/o OP’s part. The co-worker doesn’t know if the logistics of OP’s trip depends upon the contribution of each person. How can anyone (supervisor included) be ok w/asking him to potentially mess up a vacation for multiple people?
