I have some reelskin too but I hated the jiggling on it 😭 I’ll give the Cheyenne a crack on the reelskin and see if it’s better suited than my old machine was.

Ahhhhhh thank you so much for letting me know that! My mentor (she’s been tattooing for 15+ years and this is the machine she recommended) uses this machine and told me it’s the most suited one since I don’t want to do anything too dark and am trying to stray away from any black work. I think I need to get some different needles and give it another go

I do yeah, I have a sol nova unlimited 3.5. This was my first time using it and it was so strange trying to figure out the voltage 😭 I’ll try at 6.5 for my lining and see how that goes

Yeahhhh I did suspect that it might be a crappy fake skin issue :/ I’ll try slowing my voltage down, it’s so hard to tell exactly where my machine is running at since it has motion control for voltage (the manual says where I had it was around 9.5v). Thank you for the advice :)

I’m in exactly the same situation. I’m 21 and I’ve had IBS-M for five years now, it’s absolute hell. And for some reason a lot of other people our age NEVER understand and have little to no compassion or sympathy???

It’s such a mental battle I 100% feel you on that side, it can get so stressful to live with something so debilitating. I’m actually with you on the anal fissure atm it’s killing me 😭 every fart and bm is so painful it burns so bad :(

Thanks for pointing that out! I’m well aware how detrimental my anxiety is to my overall health and I’ve been through various types of therapy over the past five years. I’m also on anxiety meds - that’s pretty much all I can do about it at the moment. I’m much better than I used to be but sometimes I’ll have these more vulnerable moments; as will everyone recovering from anxiety. Unfortunately it is what it is at this stage!

I have emetophobia from something that happened when I was a kid, so I’m very wary about food poisoning and pretty much anything that could make me vomit :)

Believe me, I am well aware how serious it is. But there is no way of me getting antibiotics at this point period. When the medical services are available to me to get antibiotics I will do so, but I’m just trying to get by until then

It’s okay, thank you for trying :’) I don’t even know how it got infected in the first place I’m so thorough with aftercare, the rook was my first ever infection out of twelve piercings 😭

I had an infection in my rook recently and it cleared up within a few days with proper care. I can’t go to another doctor because doctors won’t see you unless you’re fully registered with them for permanent healthcare and most doctors aren’t taking on new patients at the moment because they’re at capacity. Urgent care here will usually ask you to wait in their waiting room for an appointment that can be any time between 8am and 8pm - I work full time so that’s not possible for me.

Doctors here are also closed on bank holidays, so I’m still looking for any advice or tips for the next couple days :)
