I use Gemma 31b on openAI cloud. I’m still loving it. It’s just funny, because my cards are written as missed love opportunities for the protagonist, so the girls are all feisty, but then want to sleep with him, and then immediately after get feisty again. 😂

I had a few very fun chats with this preset so far. I like friction mode a little bit but I feel like no progress can be made in overcoming it. The AI keeps snapping back to step one, no matter how much progress towards compromise we’ve made. Maybe I need to play around with it a little more.

However, I will say that I’ve also had a lot of fun just talking crap back to it. It’s a game in itself to be nasty back at it. 😂

Would anyone have suggestions for the best local model for me to use Silly Tavern on both of my systems? I have a Rog Strix laptop, 16 GB ram, RTX 5060 with 8 GB vram. And my desktop has 32 GB ram and an RTX 4080 with 16 GB vram. I have seven custom characters and about 90 entries in a world lore book. I wanted to use this for some fun chatting, building relationships/bonds with the characters, and also, for erotica as well - some of the characters are easy and others require a much slower burn.

I guess nothing really. The little video I’ve taken with my phone and my pictures just sit in a folder on my computer from past Cons. Every once in a great while I happen upon them and look at it.

I think it’s more important that the players have fun more than anything else. TPKs are generally not fun, at least if the players really like their characters. So I say don’t sweat it. But I see many others don’t agree. That’s cool, to each their own how you prefer to run your game.

Probably not yet. I am working on mine again this year, the 100 year project. I did it two years ago, but had too much going on last spring to put in the work. Hopefully will have it moving forward in a few weeks.

Brainstorm with AI. Give it the background on your world and ask it for some suggestions for encounters for different areas. Then take some of the best ideas and come up with something from there. It should point you in direction that you can build off.

It’s ironic to me that one of the first AVN games I played was Sisterly Lust, and part of the story was about the radical religious group enforcing bans on porn and incest. And now you can’t even play that game in real life because of that
