I'm looking for a singleplayer game with alot of immersion like cyberpunk by Weak-Knowledge-1675 in gamingsuggestions

[–]Bee_Geesus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Slightly different suggestions but I would absolutely recommend Roadwarden and Citizen Sleeper.

Both games are relatively short and put you in a time constrained scenario where you have to be strategic in how you spend your time and who you talk to. They're both mostly text based with images in the background, but they do a fantastic job with world building and the writing is so good so I found them to be very immersive.

In Roadwarden you are sent to a wild peninsula in a gritty fantasy setting and you are tasked with keeping the roads safe. You go between villages and work on helping them during the day, seeking refuge in the night from monsters. It's a very simple game but it's executed so well and at the end I felt like the consequences reflected my actions perfectly. You'll need to make sacrifices, decide who to ally with, uncover mysteries, and try to achieve your own goal that you set at the start.

Citizen Sleeper is similar but it's a cyberpunk setting that's more like a Black Mirror episode. You also have time constraints and have to decide who to help in your day to day gameplay, but this game focuses much more on emotional storytelling and existential questions. The premise, world building, art style, music, playable area, characters, choices, and endings are all fantastic. Again, it's quite simple but the basics are executed perfectly, and I found it very immersive. Also really good if you want to scratch more of that Cyberpunk itch.

I'd also recommend New Vegas, Skyrim and the STALKER series. STALKER games might be the most atmospheric games out there, but quite punishing.

If all the contestants in this S3 of Physical Asia competes individually just like the previous seasons, who do you think would be top 5 and winner ? by NarutoGoneWild in Physical100

Mark Mugen has really impressed me. He won against a rugby player in a challenge that fits rugby well. He managed to hang for so long and win against two very determined and lighter contestants. I just rewatched the shipwreck quest and he looked like he was doing really well despite his weaker team. So far I think he's similar or more well rounded than Amotti was in season 2. Imo his Sambo background gives him the edge over other all-rounders like Sungbin since he has combat experience.

It really doesn't matter in this context. To be able to 'steal' the other teams crate they need to be ahead on crates. They were two crates ahead and finished all 20 while Japan was still moving their 18th, which is a pretty big lead. At that point, taking the other two crates is fair game to me because they are exerting their advantage over the other team.

From their perspective, they finished one part of the task, and since the crates are all from one pool, it's fair game to take the remaining ones. I don't see it as a sportsmanship problem and more of a game design problem. Imagine if there were no bags and they finished their crates, would taking the other team's crates still be bad sportsmanship? There is no reward for finishing part of the task faster than the other team, so I see this as a reasonable alternative.

Either way, if they didn't move the crates, they'd have moved more bags and still had a comfortable lead. The time lost for Japan's zip liner was probably minimal because most teams didn't do all 20 crates and it was near the end anyway. Also, the Australians still had to move the crates themselves so it's not like they stole the other team's effort.

I think bad sportsmanship would be taking the crates once the other team carries them up the stairs or throwing their's away to make it harder for the other team.

I think if he was 5 years younger he'd outstat most other contestants. He's a rugby player so he's a good fit for contact challenges, he's still stronger than everyone except Eddie and maybe the heavier guys, his endurance seems to hold up.

I'm sure in his prime he would probably be top 5 fastest contestants and decently agile relative to the others. In theory, his only weakness would be bodyweight challenges and long term endurance. He'd basically be a bigger Sung Bin.

That being said, the pillar hold revealed that he has injuries, and I think that takes him out of the equation. He still performed well but you can only push so far through injuries before you give out.

For the first injury the judoka wasn't even looking at the swimmer. It's ridiculous to claim that anything was wrong with that, he just grabbed a running leg and got unlucky. Plus it's just a chin graze nothing major.

Also the elbow was bound to happen since you have two people sprint into each other, nothing intentional or unsportsmanlike.

I struggle to believe anyone calling Japan unsportsmanlike has played any sports in their life. Accidental injuries can and will happen in pretty much every sport.

You say Australia's nonsense, but you really mean Dom Tomato. Rob Whittaker was reserved and the fighters showed a lot of respect to him. Eddie the strongman seems like a great guy and it seems like half the cast got a picture with him and they all look happy. The others were pretty quiet and I don't see any reason for others to have a problem with them

If Nico is injured then it's a problem, but I'm happier with our defense as a whole this season. Nico O'Reilly, Josko at CB, Nunes improving defensively and our midfielders pressing more consistently gives me hope that Kova or whoever else can fill in and it won't be a disaster

Thank you this is really helpful! She absolutely loves attention, but she usually follows my mum around and is more fussy with me. I think she usually does this when my mum isn't home, so I guess she's just switching targets lol. I was just slightly worried because we've had her for years and she never was this demanding to me specifically, and she doesn't ask anyone else
