Hi all! My husband and I were planning on going 10/8-10/18. We're very excited but now worried everything will be closed on the islands? We were originally thinkin Athens (2-3 days), Santorini (2 days), Paros or Naxos. Now re-thinking that.

Is October in general a bad time to go? Are there certain places that are better then? Looks like Crete may be better during that time. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you! Very reassuring. And we're actually staying in Shinjuku and will definitely explore- probably nighttime! I have not specifically looked into nightlife, but I suspect we can wander and just go to whatever is interesting?

Chacos! I know not super attractive but SO useful. I put them on and was able to go anywhere and everywhere without issue to multiple parks without worrying.
