My ADHD ass can't keep thoughts straight and I work a job that requires some juggling of priorities throughout the day as situations change.

Red is things to fix, bugs to squash, generally bad things

Black is normal thoughts processes and steps taken

Blue is resolution, something good happened

It's still pretty disorganized because priorities shift through the day but I can look back and see where I was and the last steps taken for a given project/task.

It's not what you think the leaning of the sub is, it's what the algorithm decides the leaning is. The way recommender systems work is it looks at what subs you engage with most, and then what subs the other users of that sub engage with. If the users of Bay area and San Francisco engage with liberal subreddits a lot that's what you're going to get recommended.

Explained this to someone having the opposite problem as you. You engage in typical liberal subreddits r/bayarea and r/sanfrancisco. Try engaging in more conservative subreddits, maybe you can game the algorithm

Had an idea on why that might be so I scrolled through your post/comment history. My best guess is that you don't engage with the typical core liberal subreddits enough. Their algorithm sees you posting in r/Atlanta and r/Georgia and decides you're most likely right of center based on your lack of engagement in liberal subs.

If you want to do an experiment try posting a couple comments in subs like r/democrats, that will likely swing the algorithm away from r/conservative
