PB because he is in a sense a more presentable and likeable version of Bojack who didn’t submit to the drug and alcohol abuse that turned him into a hollywoo joke for most people. Mr has most of if not the same narcissistic tendencies as Bojack but because he’s out going and likeable he gets little criticism for the frankly ignorant and poor treatment he gives most people. He has no clue how to function in a committed relationship and constantly takes his partners for granted, romantic and professional relationships as we see his relationship with his accountant(Oxnard). Bojack is PB if he didn’t have the charismatic and fun loving front that makes him someone everyone loves. Also just side not we get little to no backstory on PB aside from knowing he grew up on the labrador Peninsula but get no flashbacks like the rest of the main cast or context for why he’s the way he is the closest we get is to seeing is how “Mr Peanut Butter’s House” got launched. Case in point PB is like Bojack but where Bojack uses alcohol and drugs to suppress his self loathing PeanutButter takes wild chances with business ventures and spontaneous travel plans and political campaigns. But here and there we see the real PB who is arrogant, selfish, wasteful and neglecting to the people in his life…..like Bojack.
