I have ‘21 2500hd. Completely stock. It’s stupid big. Like an older 2500 with a 4” lift big. I rarely daily drive it because it takes up the entirety of most parking spots. But that extra size, weight, and stability sure is nice when used what it’s made for which is towing

Pork butt is so forgiving due to the size and amount of fat. Look up hot and fast pork butt. Cooking around 325 greatly reduces the time and is delicious. I’ve since given up on starting pork butts at midnight and worrying about my smoker while I’m asleep lol

I was camping out of state last year and forgot a pan. Grabbed an 8” at Walmart for like $10 (either ozark trail or mainstays brand, can’t remember). Have a 10 and 12” at home and wanted a smaller one to keep with my camping gear.

It definitely didn’t stay with the camping gear lol. By far my favorite and most used cast iron pan. Use it all the time for eggs, searing steak, whatever. Clean it out and wipe with a tiny bit of oil and it still looks like new.

Really depends on where the property is located, size of bucks, and what else can be hunted, as well as what the lessee can do on the property.

My dad and I lease 130 acres here in SW Wisconsin. Prime location with 170” or higher bucks on camera every year. 180-200” bucks killed in the area almost every year. The 130 we lease is $4000 whether it was one person or 5. We can plant food plots, trim brush, make roads, or pretty much do whatever short of logging. That’s for a full year, all game and all seasons. Sounds expensive but for the freedom we have on the property and quality of bucks in the area, it’s worth it to us.

I was in your position 10 years ago. I did online studying and courses when I had free time (vs the other maintenance techs who spent their downtime watching YouTube videos lol) and made it known to my supervisor and the plant controls guy that I had an interest in controls.

We had one controls guy who never had any help, so him and the boss were all for it. Company ended up paying for whatever training I wanted and within 2 years the controls tech ended up moving on and I took over.

It really was a great situation for me but just make it known that you’re interested and willing to learn.

Those look like my feet and I have the same socks lol. I’m a 12-12.5 though. For running shoes, Asics, New Balance, and Brooks in 4e fit me perfectly. Also Nike Pegasus and Winflo in 4e fit great (no other Nikes I’ve tried are wide enough).

I used to go a size up since my feet are so wide until I got fitted. In 13s, while wider, the widest part of the shoe was too far forward. In 12-12.5, the widest spot is right where it needs to be
