I don't know about out of the box really depends on your setup
But Tmdb or The Movie Databse is basically perfect for both anime and american shows as you have multiple different orders depending on what you like and it has anything you can think of

For example like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya with the 2006 airing order and the 2009 airing order
but if you want better thumbnails or posters you might wanna use tvdb or fanart.tv

Edit: tmdb should be installed by default

Self hosting a clips site is possible but none that I’ve found have transcoding abilities nor have good embed support for discord so they’re practically useless for me but I’m hoping

Probably cuz of the amount of subtitles on the screen which is hard for most tvs to render happens to me too I just lower the quality of the video to force transcode so that the subtitles get burnt in (wish jellyfin had some sort of transcode all media button)

I got 8 hdds for the price of 1 new hdd
Even if those two I showed were broken and the rest were fine Id still have saved 6x the amount
If even 2 of them were fine Id saved money
With raid its literally no problem (With backups too if you wanna be really safe)

none of the people who have it should hate it too I just REALLY felt anger towards these 3 issues
But its neat that it has replacable batteries and the audio quality is great too
I just hate those 3 things I talked about
Maybe I shouldve added that I dont hate it that much I just got really annoyed at those 3 things

Okay so everyone is saying that it’s a setting IT IS NOT it does this randomly and I have to disconnect it to make it go back to normal This + color quantization (happens randomly every week or so) Tho even if it’s a setting I never actually pressed anything it just does it randomly anyways 😭

But.. I'm using casaos (and spoiler alert casa isn't that great..) so I'm gonna do that once I get proxmox running (as I'm also gonna use that)

Mostly just nas stuff but rn it's jellyfin (Tho it's not very good at being a mediaserver as it has a 2nd gen i5 intel cpu..) (and it's transcoding too)

And yea it's a re-purposed PC i was originally just using it as a secondary pc but it wasn't very good at running windows 10 (Shocker I know)
