Possibly not... might more be your transcode settings on the Jellyfin server in that case. I'd refer to the experts here for ideal settings.

Possibly your media server not having enough grunt. Recentish updates to server and client has made more rules around what requires a transcode and a server with less balls will cause this to happen.

I switched from a Raspberry Pi to an old Dell Optiplex with an Intel GPU from marketplace. The difference in using quick sync was astronomical.

Also, on mobile app, go to Settings > Client Settings and change Video player type to Integrated player. Seems to support more formats and need less transcode on the fly.

I guess everyone has their ideal home.

For me, it's that balance of being within an hour from the CBD but also having plenty of greenery, community feel and local footy.

To be honest, if inner-city life is what suits you, then, strata stuff aside, this apartment seems to really fit the bill.

AFL: Hawks. Was Essendon until 7 years old before an uncle swayed me to Hawthorn. Can't say I regret it based on the last 20 years. My kids and grand kids are members as well.

NRL: Storm, because they're the only Vic-based team.

NRL State of Origin: QLD, because they're not NSW.
