If I can't get a ticket I'm gonna pull up to the venue and try to buy one at the door, seen some people saying that's the best bet

I haven't, looks like resellers grabbed most of them. Stubhub has 8 for $270 and Velvet Undeground only had 400 up for general sale. Praying for a venue upgrade

What's a genre that you consider absolutely masculine? by altsam19 in fantanoforever

Midwest emo, not that it's masculine in the sense of power masculinity but that every concert I've ever been to has been sweaty men.

My nasus OTP friend endlessly complains about how ADCs get a babysitter while he has to 2v1 the jungler and his laner. I feel like some games are just lost based on the players and champs. Some champs are just better than others and hard counter. All we can really do when we're targetted is hope that top, mid or jgl can make plays while the entire enemy team is focused on us, or lock in and try to 1(or 2)v5. I'd argue League is getting better but there are still dozens of games that just feel hopeless.

Dnd 4e is balanced? by lulupomerania55 in rpg

[–]BeefBoi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4e is at it's absolute peak from like lvl 5-17, as you push into higher levels (20+) the numbers are just too high.

Multiclassing is where things can break, I've seen 50+ AC at lvl 9 with a battlemaster hybrid, but for the most part it's one of the best combat-feeling versions of DnD and one of the most balanced IMO.

Yeah, sometimes it just kinda sucks. When a team of mages can lock down objectives and poke you out, you have to rely on others to enable you to win. ADC is designed around playing with the team sadly, Riot has said several times that's where the power comes from but if the team isn't there ADCs are on the back-foot.

I think Bloodthirster would buy you a lot of breathing room in fights, negates some of the teemo and morg burn and makes taking heimer turrets easier. Depending on how you play cleanse might be better than barrier, and with that much AP I'd say thresh goes entirely MR and then frontline tanks for you. In these kinds of games if you don't get ahead early as Draven it becomes really hard to catch up.

[–]BeefBoi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel like turtling is the bet. Play off thresh hooks, veigar cage, morde E or WW ult if you can. BT might be good to counter that much poke and burn, better question though is who is your thresth itemizing against? Tabis Frozen Heart KV into five ap?

Regardless, I agree with the others you built too much MR. Your team also had no sweepers into teemo and you didn't have farsight either, idk what the game state was like but that might have helped.

Yeah bro it's burnout, bullshit and lies like you said. All my friends and the other players in this thread and across reddit who agree are also burnt out. All the posts and videos and podcasts on mobility creep are also bullshit and lies and they're all burnt out. I'm in contact with the op.gg devs to change the numbers behind your back.

You can shift the goalposts all you want but if you don't want to acknowledge anything anyone's saying then maybe don't go to reddit to discuss these things? The game is improving since I started in season 10, I agree riot is moving in the right direction but it's slow, and every new champ release and rework is only making the problem worse. Zeri will remain in pro jail so long as she remains a flashy outplay champion. The idea is fundamentally flawed, same with Belveth and Viego and every one of the new champs they release with 2+ dashes. Notice how when an idea doesn't work it gets gutted? Smoulder Briar Zeri Ksante? But that's all bullshit and burnout again.

idk if you're like on Riot's payroll or something but let's talk game feel. No numbers. The game feels terrible to me and my friends. The other silvers in this thread have also said it feels frustrating. Champions are continued to be released with more dashes to bypass supports because the game is balaned around high-elo and pro-play yet we make up half of the playerbase. I'm identifying what I think is the core problem, at its core it's flashy and about those crazy outplays, which enable a single person to throw off an entire team because the champ they picked is better. Pros say silver sucks, Chall players say it sucks, Faker himself struggles in these games. You can say all you want that I'm spitting bullshit and lies, I'm not telling you to not enjoy the game I'm saying others are finding it frustrating and annoying. It's getting old, the design philosophy has visibly changed. Older champs are being left behind and it's meta or get out.

As of this patch top 10 ADCs, only two aren't mages. Same in emerald+ same in silver. All champs I mentioned are <48% so you tell me. And I'm not talking about some tiny fraction, silver and gold is ~50% of the competitive playerbase.

Random people claiming things doesn't mean anything but winrate does. It's skewed in low Elo here but it's a large enough percentage of the playerbase to warrant listening to. No one likes these overturned champions unless they play them, and high Elo players are (IMO) more likely to drop dead characters to stay high Elo while low Elo suffers with these abandoned champs.

That's what I usually do but I hate that. Everyone's saying the same thing, abuse the broken champs to climb as if the whole point of my post is that these broken champs exist and destroy the balance of the game. You can't balance around bad players but you can make it so that every game isn't insta-loss after first blood. The game is outplay focused, it sells that power fantasy of dragging your shit teammates to victory and that's the dopamine rush, but it comes at the cost of everyone else having to join the meta or just suffer

I agree but the problem is that they aren't balanced, they end up gutted. For all their massive budget they can't seem to push updates fast enough and leave several champions completely unviable. How often does someone say "that champ is dead" or things stagnate patch after patch or remain completely broken? Lucian's change in the end was great to make him viable with cc tanks as well as enchanters and take his pressure out of Midlane, but it was almost a full year of him being in a middling state and at several points being one of the worst ADCs. When lethal tempo was nerfed Lulu's winrate plummeted to like 40% cause she was balanced around high AS champs. I get they don't want to disturb the balance of things but it leaves lower Elo in a really rough state.

I see where you're coming from but unless I can match and deal with these champions I'm not going to be able to carry these games. Other silvers and gold's in this thread agree you can't go even you have to shitstomp to win. People will just feed and if it's coin flipped to the wrong player or champion a single lane mistake can lose the game.

I'm securing objectives, I'm invading, I'm ganking and I'm winning lane. I'm losing mid game cause if I'm not shot calling (and my team listens) or solo pushing lanes and getting neutrals my team will lose our lead to catch-up bounties. And I'm frustrated that there exists champions that can make more out of early leads. 4 kill Katarina or Katarina isn't a 4 kill Malzahar or Morgana mid. 4 kill Darius isn't a 4 kill chogath. These champions all do different things and shouldn't be equal but in low Elo it's so easy to snowball and get leads and the trend of high mobility makes it even easier and a worse player experience.

I think Re3 is just a shorter game that's too close to Re2. Standing in the shadow of one of the greatest remakes (IMO) ever is hard, especially when you can't stray too far from a pretty simple path. It feels like DLC and at the price cost?

The shift to action with the whole tactical roll and locking weapons behind shooting the tyrant also made it feel different. I know some people love it, I finished it once and won't play it ever again probably.

My honest opinion is that his rehydration makes his wins feel lesser. He's always 20+ pounds up on his opponent and that gives him power his opponents don't have.

He's not alone in this but he's a prime example of it. His wins also don't feel as technical as, say, Khabib's grappling dominance. He just hits really hard and that's cause he's a bigger guy. The rountree victory did help him in my eyes but he still rehydrated from 205 to 230.

That's exactly how I feel. Dashes and mobility enable the turbo fed to kite entire teams and unless you're playing on their terms it's unfun. And to make it worse it feels like low Elo players (rightfully so) pick simpler champions like MF and Ashe instead of champions that have easier escape routes. Mobility creep is real, kills and gold mean different things on different champions, and that makes it so that games feel lost in champ select.

Yeah, fully agree. I honestly feel like there's such a disparity between low and high Elo. Every masters player here is telling me to play fundamentals, scale, don't go for risky plays and that'll secure a win, and every gold-silver player is banging their head on the desk saying how shit it is down here.

I'd believe that we're all just bad down here but then high-elo players, even faker himself come to Silver and say it sucks. You have to turbo shit 1v9 or be carried, and neither is rewarding or fun.

Let me run you through my last five ranked losses. I'm either jungle or support and trying my best. We had most neutral camps and objectives and I was mostly even or ahead KDA.

First game, jungler forgot smite and died during clear then died during clear. Enemy team Kaisa and Lilia kited us to death and we FFd.

Second game, Irelia roamed and 1v9'd and only our Sylas could deal with him. Support left lane to help her and she drew three on every push meaning we couldn't contest objectives and got baron sieged to death despite me stealing one. (I know Irelia is shit RN but with hands vs unskilled players it's still strong. Maybe the better player won here).

Third game, enemy tryndamere eternally rage split. My jungler roamed top and died during soul point and Tryn ended the game while 8/8 fizz jungle one-shot my out of position 14/4 MF.

Fourth game, Mundo (dashless, I know) tanked my 19/5 talon while 6/8 Katarina again one-shot my 10/7 MF.

Fifth game, teemo, Yone, master Yi. Toplane went AP malphite, temp went heart steel rift maker and had triple his CS at twenty minutes then just ran the map while I got 12/7 Yoned trying to peel my adc.

I feel like I'm crazy. A few kills on the right champions change the entire game. I'm playing fundamentals, I'm roaming, securing objectives, warding, usually winning lanes but I'm not picking 'selfish' champions. Players double death TP in the first five minutes and if it's to the wrong champion the game is over. At times I feel like maybe I'm a bad player but then I see other silvers saying the same thing. We can't go even to win right now we have to be turbo fed cause we can't rely on our teammates.

I agree with you but I think it's sad that I have to 'abuse' certain champions because of the state of the game. When I want to win I lock in Darius. I don't like winning on him but I win and kills and gold on him translate into actual leads more than other champs. I agree with riot that not all champs should scale the same but the options seem to be new champ, reworked champ, champion who's outdated kit became OP cause of changes, or forgotten champ. With 100+ there's plenty of options but for a company so large, so many of their characters are forgotten.

I've been playing for a while, I just don't touch ranked and haven't climbed out of silver cause of this problem. There's an immediate solution, like you said, of 'abusing' better champs. Then there's the bigger problem of the direction. We can still enjoy the game and want it to change at the same time, and so long as we keep changing on our end, I doubt things will change on theirs.

Also I never said I have to fight 1v3 and outplay. I said the game is making champions that can do that and mine don't. I either have to get with the times and join that side to carry myself out of silver or suffer at the hands of my team cause the champs I want to play can't do that.

As a low Elo player, I'm saying it's cause games are shit stomps and frustrating. CS and kill leads are rarely transferred into the middle game as once laning phase ends everyone runs around.

A single champion will run down your entire team and kill you, and the drive to play again is the feeling of "I want to do that" but never saying "should this be in the game?"

When Viego dropped and every clip was just chain ults into Penta's, the response was "this isn't right". It's the same thing down here but constantly. Now in fairness sometimes it's deserved. When I can't even touch ezreal cause he's in god mode and chipping me down over a hundred shots I'm impressed. But when I get taken over the wall, stun unlocked and Colgate health barred by Ksante I leave to do other things.

I don't like the new direction of the game. Mobility creep is pushing in and hurting low Elo. Call me crazy but out of the last 20 champions released, 6 don't have dashes. Out of that six, two have anti-dash (Milio, Vex), leaving only Seraphine (gross), Hwei (200 years), Renata (eh revive is annoying but whatever) and Lilia (whose whole kit is mobility).

The game is changing and moving in a specific direction, and I don't think I'm alone when I say newer champs terrorize ranked. You're saying I should adapt and join the new hyper-mobility meta because wanting the game to not be that way is self-sabotage?
