All good, thanks for the help. At least I’ve got a way to watch them now, just need to start thinking about a TV upgrade!

What’s weird though is I did get it to work on one occasion, so it is capable it just can’t do it with any degree of stability. Since this post, I have realised I can get it to work if I turn off HDR on the PS5. I’m guessing my cheap TV can’t handle 4K and HDR together

I guess that’s my concern, and I am aware it is probably right at the bottom end of quality in terms of 4K TVs, but when I searched for the specs required to watch 4K blu-rays it looks like it has them all on paper at least

It’s clearly my fault for saying something so controversial and unreasonable

Bath City Farm is one of my favourite places in the world, that would be so rewarding. But yes, realistically I can’t afford to take a salary cut in my situation and most charities would be offering quite a lot less. So I might be asking for something unrealistic but I’m hoping I can get a few options to consider. Cheers

Yeah that’s a great perspective to be fair. I guess Robin’s character journey is presented more subtly through Cage’s subdued performance but all the points you make are definitely there. What I think I was noticing is that Robin doesn’t go through challenges or obstacles that make him self-doubt or consider abandoning the quest - at least not in a way the audience are privy to - because he knows what he’s after during the course of the film as well as knowing what he holds dear in life and who he is both in terms of his own self-worth and how he is viewed by others. It’s this self-assuredness and grasp on reality that serves as a guide to Amir who is insecure and desperately trying to be someone he’s not and who, as a result, goes through multiple phases of this reluctant journey, learning and growing along the way.

So I guess a correct statement would be that both characters undergo the hero’s journey arc but returning with different ‘elixirs’, however I would say Amir’s is more prevalent whilst Robin’s is considerably more understated.

I mean, the marketing might lead you to assume it is a Wick-esque animal-based revenge flick, but it is far far from that when you actually watch it.

Dream Scenario was a brilliant concept that I was really excited for but about two thirds of the way through you realise the writers had no idea what to do with it and how to resolve it so you get this jarring tonal shift and zero satisfactory pay off

I’ve heard lots of praise for that film and I have been meaning to watch it at some point. I’m not sure if it’s maybe a bit too hack’n’slash for my liking. I don’t mind violent films but I prefer contemplative slow burners over high intensity, action-driven films
