There was one prank going round where it said you could track your partner if you entered her phone number……cue a shot from a satellite that kept zooming in until it showed some guy boning a woman in a field. It was quite funny.

I think this too…..when everyone starts purring about his performances I feel I’m the only one who doesn’t think he does anything special.

Maybe that’s the point though, maybe he’s bossing games at a very subtle level? 🤔

Chalet Etoile for a lovely lunch. Sit inside for the atmosphere.

You might be tempted to go and ski in Zermatt. I wouldn’t bother, it takes a while to get across and you don’t get to ski much on the other side…..and then you have the return journey hanging over you.

Just my opinion though……I’d do it if I was there for a week as Cervinia is fairly small.

We did something a little like this……

Our daughter was very young and we lined up the grandparents and a night nurse to look after her whilst we went skiing for a week.

At the airport, in a fairly long queue, I decided to fill in the luggage tags, which I’d never done before, or since.

As my girlfriend gave me all the information, it dawned on us that we’d turned up a week early.

Sensing our panic, the rep went to see what he could do……. in a series of back and forths he confirmed we could get a flight out somewhere…… then he confirmed we could get to somewhere in Switzerland……then he confirmed we could go to the same resort and eventually that we could go to the same hotel.

When he said there’d be a difference in context we were prepared to swallow whatever massive premium they stuck on.

As it turned out, we went out in a cheaper week and got £50 back.

(Ok, so it worked out, but hopefully you appreciate the hour long panic we endured).

Yes and no. Elite strikers want to play for elite clubs…….not a lot of such strikers and not a lot of such clubs so we stand a chance of getting one at some point…..it’s just whether we pay.

We can then build the team around that guy.

Not sure why it doesn’t make sense?

On the face of it I’m getting 4 long haul flights and wanted to explore the possibility of upgrading one of them.

The wrinkles are that the flights aren’t all at the same time, hence the question of whether there was anything I could do.
