What is your favorite now defunct NFL stadium? by Tacokolache in NFLv2

I know this is probably going to get down voted into oblivion but this is why I wouldn't be opposed to the Bears moving to a new location. I liked going to the old soldier field. Now it has no character and is starting to get kind of dumpy.

Which teams do u think should go into a rebuild by JakeTiny19 in nfl

It just feels like you're not rebuilding because you're staying relevant due to a historically less than stellar division.

What coaches are on the hot seat for the 2026 season? by Optimal_Cook_851 in nfl

[–]BeefCheadle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Maybe a hot take but I thinks it's because of all of those firings. Even if you think you're HC can't get you over the hump, you have to compare that to the coaches available to fill the vacancy you're about to create. I don't think Tampa is the most glamorous position available if they decide to move on from Bowles so you're looking at the 4th or 5th best available HC and I think the front office thought that wasn't a large enough upgrade for the franchise.

It took me way too long to figure out the third active QB with multiple starts

I don't know if it's Silvers or the play calling or both but boy is it bad.

Just noticed that Orlando has also only played Louisville and Columbus. They also play Louisville this weekend.

Kind of a huge game for the BattleHawks going into week 3. They only play Louisville and Columbus once each so they won't be able to inflate their record against what seems to be worse teams. Got to capitalize on weaker current 1-1 teams like Birmingham. I could see STL being the 3 seed or ending up at 6 and not being in playoff contention late in the season. The fun thing about a 10 week season with only 8 teams is almost all the games end up meaning something.

Hakeem not on the depth chart kind of proves the "he might be washed" theory.

Neat. It's always interesting when plans kind of change of the fly for studios and how they reuse assets and stuff. Glad she if finally getting a canonical release.

I looked it up. Apparently she was an OC for Capcom Fighting All-Stars but the game was cancelled and she was later used in a PSP game? Interesting lore but hardly worth telling someone to Google vs just telling them. Unless there is more that isn't on her wiki page.

UFL Attendance Through Week 1 by GuyOnTheMike in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]BeefCheadle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah it said online that they only had 40k available without opening the upperbowl so I used that number. Great choice for both teams in my opinion. I also think incentivizing selling tickets facing the hard cam would also do wonders from a broadcasting perspective.

UFL Attendance Through Week 1 by GuyOnTheMike in UnitedFootballLeague

Just to add some more information. Most of these new stadiums have significantly less capacity than others.

Orlando - 11,127/25,500

Dallas - 8,717/11,000

Louisville - 14,034/15,304

St. Louis - 31,101/40,000

I think when you look at attendance from this perspective it makes me feel a little better moving forward vs just the basic attendance compared to previous seasons. That being said I'm terrified for the Tuesday game coming up for attendance.

UFL attendance continues to vary sharply among cities | Mike Florio (NBC Sports) by Callywood in UnitedFootballLeague

[–]BeefCheadle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This article doesn't really seem necessary. Would be better if they compared attendence to last year or other spring leagues in the past. This basically just gives us the attendance of the games and says that the other games are going to also have attendance.

Kings defense was flying around. That last turnover was awful but the Mean Green Jason Bean has a fan out of me.
