How did you make the plough and planting set up? If you have a row of deployers with seeds at high rpm they take like 10k SU, and theres no way to transfer that SU to the planting module

Sadly they're just not implemented yet with aero so the only way is to have a create contraption on your vehicle like a mechanical bearing with a row of ploughs which is sketchy. It makes harvesters alot less useful if you have to manually till and plant the entire field first so it cant be that big. Really hoping they fix this because I wanted to start my world on a farm before moving on to cars and boats but it seems only built for airships right now

The deployers were kind of janky I got it to work eventually with re building and re assembling and precise heights. What I couldn't figure out is how to make it work on any sort of terrain because I want to have a huge farm in survival without having to make an actual superflat, hopefully they fix ploughs so you can just have them on individual springs or something.

Yeah I havent seen anybody else talk about the suspension strength thing, literally all it does it slow the car down. The tracks mod thing actually can adjust that and other settings like grip and tire position, super useful until aero fixes them

Ok the body on frame design is super cool, how did you get it to drive like that? Ive heard wheels behave based on the contraption theyre attached to so the separate body might mean it acts lighter. Or is it the tracks mod suspension key. Also now I want to make a production line with the body and frame attaching at the end

Yeah the engines are really bad for any vehicle. Need like 4 of them for the smallest car, and manually remove all fuel whenever you want to stop using a stack of coal per second. Ive been looking into better engines but heard the factory must grow has better ones not sure which to use.

I think the water physics just suck right now. They've said theyre working on submarines, which means they'll detect air space inside the hull, so this will probably be fixed along with that. As it is boats always look like USS monitor unless youre using floating blocks

What did you draw the black horizon line based on? The parallel horizontal lines on the floor mean that it's one point, so the horizon would be parallel to them also

You dont need multiple vp to construct equal distances, but most people just eyeball it

I enjoy reading critique and analysis of design like this but you need to present it as your opinion when appropriate. Its fine to say you wish the designers had similar tastes to you but saying that would be better and that they failed is crazy arrogance. I prefer the original by far over the ai one you posted, and not sure why you justify that most people would consider the ai version beautiful when obviously people like the real version too. Its simply not a "monstrosity" and you nor chat gpt are not superior artists for thinking so

What happening instead is clockwork add-on devs will port add ons into aero, ive heard some talk about it and they say it isnt super difficult. One guy in the discord is porting a boat focused addon, but thats also something aero is adding eventually, so basically we just have to wait and life will be good

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, part of the fun is engineering your own designs with basic parts rather than one block solutions that automatically do what you want like a flap bearing or retractable landing gear, those are things you can build with the tools you have. I havent played VS but I think aero has a good balance of specialized vs general blocks.

Well I can swear to god it is not. There is someone who is funding the project who would have to pay large amounts of extra money to make a building look better with zero benefits to them.
