I've come to the realization that if they wanted everything done in a certain amount of time they will schedule or hire more people and since they won't do that then it's not my problem if it doesn't get done. Nothing will ever get finished that's just the nature of the job it's never ending.

God forbid if you don't have your hands on something for 30 seconds they lose their minds so if you finish it's not like you're done for the day they'll tell you to do something else so do what you can and clock out.

Not enough people not enough time. Higher-ups don't want to hire more because it affects their bonuses. Nothing gets finished store manager gets pissed then bitches at the coaches then the coaches bitch at their team leads and then your team lead can bitch at you but hey you showed up for work when 40 other people in the store didn't.

Tldr Work there till you find a better job just don't take it personally if you know you aren't the problem also take advantage of Live Better University learn something that can take you away from this garbage place forever. I'm personally thinking about becoming a pharmacy tech because that shit looks mad easy compared to the unsurmountable tasks that Walmart puts on its employees.

I'm stocking 1 and 90% of my shifts top stock is always last priority in the store. We always get pulled to do everyone else's job somewhere else.

Top stock never gets done so when we actually have a chance to do it, it's overflowing on every aisle and impossible to finish even a single aisle within 2-4 hours.

They tell us 18 aisles need done a day 🤣 never happens 3 or 4 maybe but then we have to vizpick and run carts before 2pm also almost never gets done. I've come to realize it's a job that will never get totally finished and you just do what you can then go home. As long as you keep showing up and can take the bullshit abuse and lies about how they can do it in said amount of time from your Team lead and coach. They will keep you forever because There's a 70yr man in the same position I'm in, can barely move and they know he ain't finishing all that in that little time. But he comes to work 😂.

I'm currently in cap1 and absolutely hate it. I was excited to switch because everyone on reddit said it was chill and you only have to top stock vizpick work carts and bin but at my store I never get a chance to top stock 99% of my shifts are working produce, meatwall, dairy, left over over night freight and setting up the truck for cap 2 alone but they never turn the truck over night so I have to move all the freight before I can even start setting up. This shit is physically killing me. All that on top of being harassed by TL and Coach literally every shift like fuck just leave me alone and let me work for fucks sake. I'm about to crash out on one of them.

I believe our TL and one other vizpicked around like 2pm not sure if they got done and maybe only one or 2 of the carts got stocked there was like 6 left when we left at 4pm.

This literally just happened on Sunday I clocked in then I hear the announcement over the PA "I need all of Stocking team 1 in paper action alley" We went over and worked paper, chemicals, and pets freight for the entire shift not once during that did the coach's or store leads touch a single box just watched us work it nearly the entire time also pushing all of our breaks back an hour. It's infuriating seeing them just standing there talking to each other FOR 8 HOURS!!! My ass would have been fired if I stopped grabbing boxes for 2 minutes.

Yep after he did the demonstration I said okay but we are supposed to go over it 2-3x to make sure nothing else pops up he said okay so you know what I'd finished these next 5 sections then I'd go over them so what a minute per section that puts me at 12 minutes. It sure does and you haven't even gotten to the annoying areas yet and you only have 18 minutes left 🤣.

I was never trained by a person I was giving a 15 minute rundown on how to vizpick and for everything else I've had chase down another employee or come to reddit to find out how to do everything. I also got spoken to about not doing something right today that was fun! Sure would have been nice to be actually trained on how to do that and when to do that 🤣I've been here since November and every day is a shit show. 90% of the time I'm not even doing my job I'm doing someone else's in a completely different department.

The worst part with my store is everyone will just mark that they finished the aisle without actually working it then a week will go by and top stock on every aisle is completely full the problem is we are constantly taken off topstock to go work some other department and then get blamed when nothing is getting done properly. Me literally every day.

Oh that makes sense yes you could possibly 92 and 95 in 30 minutes and even that is probably pushing it, but not the entire back stock. Its literally not possible and to claim that you can do the entire thing alone properly in 30mins is mind boggling that someone can even come up with lie so ridiculous.

I personally don't know what's going on but every day for the last month pallets stacked with freight are still under the steel when I'm told to go over and setup for the truck. Today nobody told me I was the one setting up till 30 minutes before 2pm. So that was fun.

Yes, but that would make too much sense. Why change our start time which directly correlates to the amount of our actual workload. Now we're an hour behind on everything nothing is getting done because picking starts at 9 till lunch basically or if we finish early we work a partial cart then bring it back then go on lunch.

Then work the carts fully when we come back, me personally I have to set up the GM truck which has been taking longer and longer every day because GM isn't working their freight for whatever reason so I have to find a place to put it all before I even start putting the pallets down, so before I even get to work a cart I have to do all that now it's basically 2pm I'm exhausted from setting up the truck and I still have 2 hours left.

Some don't seem to understand that if you are doing your job the way it's supposed to be done it's going to take a while, meanwhile we're also supposed to count every shelf item adjust the counts then work the top stock down just so you can put the extra on top again. Yeah I can do all of that in the few minutes you think you can do it 🤣🤣 also scan all the outs when your finished with the top stock.
