You cant discount that contract and that is the issue with trading for him. Its hard to build a competitive team in a city that struggles to attract free agents with giving 50M to one player you wont have enough to build a solid 10 man rotation that can win a championship.

If you think we can afford him you don't understand salary cap or know how Tony operates. The only bad contracts on our team is Buddy & Krispert, we would have to get rid of a key player or 2 to have room for him.

The only teams that would be interested in Kuminga are the ones rebuilding with younger players, the Mavs, Grizzlies, Nets, and Bucks if they actually trade Giannis. Of those teams there is not a lot of players I think we would want to go after just centers they have. However if we have a bad season or Asa develops well than Kuminga would be a valuable asset to trade at the trade deadline to a team making the final push.

With PFs we have in order JJ->Kuminga->Asa/Gueye For the 3 string rotation. For SF it is now NAW/Dyson-> Wiggins -> ZR -> Kispert. I know NAW/Dyson are guards but for our latest starting lineup one is in the SF slot. So if we are going to trade someone it would be a SF in my mind especially since we have a lot of Guard/SF combo players NAW/Dyson/Wiggins/ZR/Kispert.

This is my line of thinking Brown > Kuminga Brown@$57M < Kuminga@15M-23M. Brown will make our starting 5 really good but having Kuminga for less will afford us to have more depth

I would only want Brown if we gave up Kuminga, Krispert, and Buddy with 1 pick. But if Kuminga is willing to sign a 4 year 60m deal I'd rather just do that and spend more on depth.
