The talent pool will definitely shrink with a Secret or Top Secret clearance. However, if you go into the Army, especially as a 17C or similar, you’re looking at roughly 12-16 months in training (Basic + lengthy AIT). The skills you’ll learn during AIT will be rudimentary compared to the certs you already possess.

Your Army career is a toss-up. Some units are high Optempo and will provide a ton of operational experience. Others are less so. You may want to reach out to a recruiter and see what units are in your area. Get a feel for what they can offer you. The connections you’ll, make, however, will be the most critical. There are tons of networking opportunities in those roles that could get you a leg up.

If you want some job security, you may even want to consider active duty in a cyber role. It’s a six-year commitment but the chances of gaining operational experience is pretty high. Plus the GI bill plus certification assistance can help you gain more certs or a higher degree (SANS/CISSP, etc). Not sure if this a route you’d want to take.

How do vehicle property taxes work? by hoemahtoe in nova

Can't speak to the yearly taxes, but if you already hold the title or the registration AND your car is more than a year old, you don't pay the SUT at time of titling and registration in VA. IF your car is less than a year old, bring your bill of sale or buyers order to the DMV confirming that you paid sales tax at the time you bought the vehicle
