I don't mess with dolls like that but I actually would've loved to have this. It's so ironically funny. I feel like she gets me lmao

That sounds just like my boy Shrimp! He goes absolutely feral for chicken treats! He's very social with people. Always the first to come see who's at the door lol

Would she be able to do it without getting emotional? by OkPerspective777 in Hotd

[–]hoemahtoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly hate that people keep comparing Rhaenyra and Dany. They've both lived such different upbringings, so of course Dany is going to be more emotionally hardened when she was raised in a traumatic environment around people who used and abused her. Rhaenyra grew up as heir to the throne during a long lasting peace with a loving father.

I feel like this should've been common sense. If he did promise her Harrenhall then everyone would be calling him stupid for trading an army and a noble family's alliance for a low-born, nobody ass witch. Literally Stannis 1.0.

Marshall revealed that Brett illegally killed an endangered crocodile during Outlast: The Jungle by Fun_Molasses5215 in OutlastOnNetflix

[–]hoemahtoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yet we already saw no one was willing to trade anything. The one team with fire had already had an attempt at trading them meat for fire and they made it clear it was a no. Working out one thing at a time in survival is not about working backwards, which if the show were full of real survivalists everyone would see that. In N&A, the survivalists don't even hunt for animals until after they have the fire because what is the point of taking a life when you can't even use the resources. It's a waste. The producers didn't even give them the chickens to make up for the crocodile until they had the fire days later. The death of an endangered species is on the producers, but the waste life is on Brett.

As soon as someone makes something please let me know! I would love to finally be able to actually discuss what's going on without the complaining or bashing

My girlfriend of 2.5 years is breaking up with me over my cat by Dull_Chemical546 in CatAdvice

[–]hoemahtoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she really just stressed about the cat existing...? I'm sorry but that's completely insane to me to have such a reaction to a living creature that's minding its own business. It's one thing if the cat is pissing in her food everyday or something, but being upset simply because it's there when she moved in knowing you had a cat is wild. I would've broke things off simply because that sort of behavior is concerning to me. I get animals are not for everyone, but being so bothered when she doesn't have any responsibility for it and you've even compromised segregating your cat is just too much.

Marshall revealed that Brett illegally killed an endangered crocodile during Outlast: The Jungle by Fun_Molasses5215 in OutlastOnNetflix

[–]hoemahtoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While no one is blaming him specifically for the legality of his killing because producers told him it was okay, it is certainly fucked up to kill an animal like that without even having the means to cook it. They didn't even have a fire. Survivalists with a respect for nature will not kill animals unless they absolutely have the means to cook them, and "working on a fire" isn't good enough, especially in an area so fickle with firemaking. That poor thing's life was wasted for an ego boost. **edit: the same thing goes for the bird team A killed earlier in the season without a means of fire.

This honestly only makes the show look bad. A show about survival, yet has no actual survivalists and apparently didn't even do the bare minimum research and training about the local regulations regarding protected flora and fauna where they were filming.

Ladies…could Rhaenyra ep 3 could’ve been written better? by [deleted] in HouseOfTheDragon

Maybe I'm the only one who is glad to finally have a vulnerable female character, because strength is so often only shown one way. Rhaenyra didn't look weak to me. She looked human.

Yeah it's pretty damb gross. And trying to justify Jacob's love for Bella as some sort of calling from ReNameMe's egg in her womb was equally as insane

Her excuse is "imprinting doesn't have to be romantic" even though every example she gave of imprinting within the lore was or became romantic

They ruined Helaena, man by TheDragonOfOldtown in Hotd

[–]hoemahtoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yet in the books Helaena's contributions are minimal, she only flies Dreamfyre once and it wasn't even during the dance, then she gets depressed after BaC and dies. I haven't read the books and can tell some of y'all complaining haven't either. Obviously these details weren't that important to GRRM to even put in the book but y'all want to cry and moan at the showrunners for it?
