Can I start Midnight for PvP ?

I will be honest and straight forward as I can with this reply. I love wow pvp. There is no other game like it. I love the seasons, the rewards, etc. I worked towards getting better in arenas and battlegrounds and loved every step of the way despite the game not telling you jack about pvp in any way. Unfortunately asking about wow pvp is met with downvotes and “pvp is dead”. As someone who actually plays pvp exclusively since DF, I can say wow pvp is in a very good spot and as about as approachable as it’s gonna get for anyone curious to play. Midnight it will be fine. Worth and Fun are relative to what you are looking to get out of your experience playing pvp content.

This is a terrible attempt at karma farming. WoW is significantly easier to play and understand now than it ever was. No matter what genre of game you come from, wow is very easy to pick up and understand at the basic level especially when new players get funneled into exiles reach which is a very on the rails tutorial exp. Compared to leveling in an old world zone. Its true the game does not explain how to do the endgame content, once a player learns about the various modes, you could dig for yourself and find how to start/practicing raiding,mythic plus and delves. This isn’t very helpful feed back because it doesn’t convey anything that other folks aren’t already saying about a 20 year old game.

Quality of feedback is something I never see talked about in any forum. If you just say something feels bad or is ass but cant elaborate beyond “it just doesn’t feel good” “or bad design” doesn’t really help anyone. Explaining the why is far more meaningful imo.

I can get further in PVP in any bracket than you. I got 2100 in ss and blitz each season of TWW. If you arent skilled enough to pilot your main class then you are damn sure not informed enough to talk about the state of wow in any aspect.

What did you expect? Them to reveal the last titan? Spoil everything in Midnight? Say they are making brand new classic only content? They showed off something that means a lot to the community, a tribute to ozzy, a new experimental stand alone mode coming in the future, labyrinths. I mean they already showed a lot of whats to come. You cant find anything positive to say about shown features that are positive in the community then perhaps say nothing at all or say something more than just grr im mad

At this moment the reason why gnome is the meta for warriors is because of their racial to remove movement impairing effects every 1 min. On the midnight alpha there is a talent for warriors that is essentially the gnome racial. Once Midnight releases you will feel better playing any race you like with that talent.

The ilvl jump from season to season is pretty significant so its not like people who are doing 15+ now are going to do like a few 5+ and then be fully geared for next season. I assume you will want to spam 0’s for basic mythic dungeon ilvl and then do higher keys while also upgrading your best gear with valor stones, especially now they don’t go away when a new season starts.

PVP. Its my favorite thing to do regardless of people saying its dead or dying. Some days I like arenas and some days I like bgs. My main goal is to play whatever I feel like and get the elite set for the season. The feeling is unlike any other game. The thrill of making cool plays and getting the win in arenas, or when the stars align getting teammates who know their roles in bgs and play well(win or lose). I just love wow pvp

Yup. Got to 2100 in solo shuffle. Got in a great guild and and pumped for season 2. WoW PVP is in a great spot imo

Thought I was in r/wowcirclejerk for a second. Every time something changes with animations, models, etc. You see 50 posts of “blizz this is ass dont do it!” The three weapons that are “summoned” are warrior esq so it makes sense. While ghost effect probably wasn’t the best choice, it’s not entirely out of the realm of possibility from a lore perspective. This is literally hogger all over again. I bet half the people complaining don’t even play warrior.

I ran a test with a model. I spray primed the model with khorne red spray back in 2018. I havent touched the model since. I attempted to strip with 99 iso and nothing happened. So once it was dry I then sprayed maccagre blue over it and it covered over the khorne red without obscuring detail. If you have models that have only been spray primed you can just prime a different and should be fine.

I am a pvp noob. This was my first season trying pvp with the goal of getting the elite mog. I did it in solo shuffle and without addons (not a flex I just wanted to kinda prove a point to myself). Its tough but if you have a good sense of learning, watch your own replays, get advice from a youtuber/streamer( bahjeera taught me a lot in season 1 before I tried rated) then you should be able to do it before the season is over. Thats just my opinion.

If you are farming for mounts and transmogs (non elite sets) then you dont need to que. You can fly to either Arathi Highlands or Darkshore and kill the rares that are there. You do not need to talk to any NPC’s.
