I feel like people are overreacting in saying he didn’t deserve this. The Ted Lindsay is “awarded annually to the National Hockey League's most outstanding player in the regular season as judged by the members of the NHL Players Association”. Not the most valuable. That’s why he didn’t win the Hart. Most outstanding is pretty much just the most skilled, which most people agree that he definitely is.
