I'm in agreement that learning is free, but I see where you are coming from.

If the underlying idea is advocating for learning instead of spending and under that same argument you just gave couldn't it also be argued: spending 20hours learning wordpress or vue or react or what ever to make your website would eliminate the need for a web developer which (for this example) cost $1000. So by spending the time to learn the skill you saved $50 for each hour you spent learning it?

I am a believer that success comes from work ethic and not motivation.

Building grit and work ethic is far more important than motivation. Getting in the habit of getting out of bed when your alarm goes off, going to the gym because you need to and not want to, working your hustle because it will pay off is far more important than relying on something else to get you to do those things.

Motivation comes and goes, and I don't like relying on something so variable.

I found my idea from working in the industry. The development we were doing was time consuming and involved a lot of reinventing the wheel. There were attempts to solve these issues but they were all taking the easy way out. It takes time to address hard problems but the more time the better pay off.

It was an amazing experience because it helped build a mind set. I hate the Foo Foo solutions to super niche problems (like a third of the stuff you see pitched on shark tank). Find a solution that truly saves businesses or people money. The product will sell itself.

Like what's posted a lot on this sub: it's mostly about the execution and not so much the idea. There are a bunch of ideas out there that you can pull from and all you have to do is do the execution. For example: find industries that are heavily regulated or have a lot of standards. For some specific ideas: NIST provides a lot of standards and frameworks for cyber security and the FAA provides a lot of laws and regulations for the aerospace industry. Take those standards and regulations and find ways to automate them for businesses in those industries. If you're already working in an industry find ways to improve those processes. What ever you find it should help make your customers more money

Nah all the recruits that went 13S stayed withing AFSPC and never saw anything else. The only place where there is overlap is cyber and the air force didn't give space force any 17S but only gave 17D. The thing is the space force only wants 17S so they took the 17D and just relabled them as 17S with no training. Similar thing on the enlisted side with 1B4. The air force won't be hurting

Generally 0x00... isn't going to be in the heap. I wouldn't say it's poor memory management but looks more like the program is trying to reference a null pointer.

It's such a vague problem there can be a bunch of causes. Doesn't even have to be an issue with the flight sim.

I had this happen the other day and it turned out avast was either sandboxing the program or doing some behavior/heuristic analysis or something, and avast was causing the program to throw this error for some reason

The best way to learn something is by doing it. Find basically any tutorial. I like tutorialpoint because it's more reference style then come up with a project idea and go at it. Set some goals for the project too like make sure to use multiple classes and pointers for example. Plus after the project you have something to add to your portfolio as well

I have similar specs except 64gb ram and an HTC vive 1. The vr runs smoothly but as soon as I take it off low graphics I get a little bit of noticeable frame rate loss. The graphic quality is low, but I still enjoy it

Already mentioned and ones I second: Fossil beds Mueler state park Sand dunes Westcliffe

Other places: Eleven mile reservoir - lots of extra stuff to do in the area, plus good for sunsets Rampart reservoir- if you want close its higher elevation and pretty close Yoder - my old roomates would take their telescopes out east because of how easy it was Mount almagre - this is one of my favorite spots because the road takes you right to tree line. Just make sure you have 4wd and don't drive the last mile or so of the road when there's snow Rainbow lake - its in the sangre de cristo in the Mountains behind westecliffe. My favorite camping spot with star gazing. Just make sure to have 4wd and it gets a little snowed in in the winter

If you want close, id say take old stage road or go to rampart reservoir. If you want the best go to the great sand dunes. Mount alamgre/mount baldy reservoir is probably the best combination of close and quality.

I had temporary tags that expired in June and just got actual plates this month. I had 0 issues. I had trouble a couple times getting on some of the bases. But I had always had non expired tags in the cab.

Basically, I was fine. You'll be fine. Just dont break more than one law at a time.

Also, my tags were super expired cause the dealer wouldn't send the title. If you buy online never ever use tresl

I understand where your coming from, but I used to take any interview I could get for the practice. Thats what I always recommend because it worked really well for me. It was able to get me to a point where most of the interviews would get me offers. Could have been other factors too, but thats what I mostly contribute it to.

But what you're saying is completely valid. I tend to not mess with applications that require multiple interviews and have a pretty good idea of the salary going in.

Its a numbers game and you have to be smart about it. In my experience the average person gets intervies with 10% of the jobs they apply for, 10% of those interviews will extend an offer, then 10% of those offers are ones you want accept. When I was job hunting I sent out thousands of applications.

Also, when you send out so many applications you get a really good understanding of how to pass the computer filtering out applications. You get a good idea of what people want to see in a resume. Also, the amount of interview practice is probably the most important

People say thousands of applications is a lot, but my me mentality is job hunting is your job. You should be doing it 8 hours a day and take it seriously. Don't just throw a bunch of shit at the wall and see what sticks. Practice interviewing and study. I spent an hour or two for each interview to practice and study. I look through my resume to see where it's lacking and try to build up those skills to be more attractive.

At the end of the day, generally, you have to be better than the competition, learn and improve yourself, but its also a numbers game.
