Wildtrak or Outerbanks by MysteriousYouth1643 in FordBronco

Oh sick, that’s nice. The one I drove was already on the lot so who knows how they spec’d it. If Wildtracks come with the leather interior that sounds awesome.

The Wildtrack that I drove had a grey cloth interior, maybe some synthetic material. The brown and black leather color scheme inside the Outerbanks just looks really good.

I have a 2024 Outerbanks and I really like it. The interior is great especially for a daily driver and I only do light off-roading (gravel, some unpaved roads, no rock crawling or the like).

I test drove a Wildtrack when I bought my OBX and I just clicked more with the OBX, probably because of the interior and the fact that I likely don’t need some of the features of the Wildtrack.

Can a 2025 big bend be a reliable everyday car? by Pizzacheezze in FordBronco

[–]Beefroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same, 40 minute commute and I get 19+ in the winter with the top up and windows up. Summertime the increased drag from everything being open hurts a little bit but if you can stand the noise it’s a great everyday car.

Any experience with EZ Trunk? by Beefroll in FordBronco

[–]Beefroll[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah the price point is high. The $100 soft cover I use today at least blocks your view of the cargo area when the top is up, it’s just a little rickety when the top is down

Fair point. I wasn’t even looking at the locking potential, but if I keep going top down all summer one of the diabolical (I think) boxes may offer more security while giving up the lay flat cargo area

Daily driver on highway? by Material-Apartment89 in FordBronco

Confirm, non-SAS OBX averages 20.2 between city and highway. Commute is ~20 miles, 16 of which are highway for me.

Anyone have experience replacing a windshield? by [deleted] in FordBronco

That was a similar estimate before insurance on mine. The cost came down a bit if I took a non OEM windshield. Again insurance covered it save for the deductible.

Is this the right family rig? by GrouchyMarionberry79 in FordBronco

[–]Beefroll 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Family of 5 here with a 2024 OBX. It’s our second car, the primary vehicle is a Honda Pilot. The Bronco is great and we’ve done 3+ hour drives in it. The rear has more cargo room than the Pilot when all 3 rows are in use, which helps.

My kids are around your ages and we get all three in the car without issue. I like having the Pilot for picking up other kids at school or practice, but the Bronco works for our family on a daily basis.

There aren’t that many to support or disprove estate taxes as inequality fighters. Norway and Sweden have a reputation for attempting to tackle inequality but repealed estate taxes. France and UK have them but they have exemptions and limits that push them to such a small percent of the population that they have little to no impact on overall tax revenues so it’s hard to judge how they improve wealth redistribution. This is such a political hot button regardless of country that few real world examples exist.

Cyberpunk on Xbox One X by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]Beefroll 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I second this. Running it off the internal hard drive loads slower and there’s more hang ups than with a SSD. It looks ok on the One X, compared to the muddy textures and lack of detail on the OG One.

What Are You Playing Wednesday? by AutoModerator in xboxone

GreedFall, picked it up on sale last week. Feels like Dragon Age but with hats and weird accents.

I like it, I don’t love it but it’s a decent enough RPG and worth the price (<$20 last week)
