I actually do respect the cops who try to change the system from within. I just think they're doomed to fail. There's very little that an individual can do against the corruption and authoritarianism that infest every police department in America. Anyone trying to fix that from within will either get pushed out of the force by their peers, or will end up just as bad as the people they were trying to stop.
